Liberal Insanity- Straws vs Syringes

I wasn’t sure where to put this post, put I think it is one more piece of evidence that we are ripe for destruction...

It is illegal for California and nearly in Washington state for restaurants to give straws with drinks, which leads to fines of $1000.00 AND possible jail time. But the the same local governments that ban straws give out millions of syringes. It’s illegal for a dog owner to not clean up their dogs poop, but people can poop on sidewalks, cemeteries, and parks.

Seriously, when do democrats wake up and say ummmm this liberal thinking is CRAZY!!??? What does it take to see liberal policies as a fast track to ruin?

Really, I want to know, any answers would be greatly appreciated.

These laws seem insane because we are trying to apply our own first principles instead of theirs.

When you view the world entirely as oppressed and oppressors then the purpose of law is to rectify that situation.

Businesses and those who eat at restaurants are primarily considered part of the oppressor class. If poor people use straws, it is not their fault. They are ignorant or manipulated by the oppressors. They can and should be banned.

Syringes are used by drug addicts. They are oppressed. Their behavior should be nurtured because it is not their fault. They were put in that situation by some oppressor. The only way to stop drug addiction is by eliminating the power of the oppressors, not by changing the behavior of the addict.

Same w/ pooping. The pets are part of the oppressor class. The humans pooping are homeless and therefore oppressed.

It all makes sense when you eliminate first principles like individual liberty, choice, and accountability and replace them with oppressed/oppressor.
