Prophetic Priorities

In our ward we are being admonished to focus on "prophetic priorities", especially in priesthood and relief society meetings/lessons. It seems to the exclusion of a number of gospel principles that are evidently not considered as important. It appears that the priorities we are being given include:
Scripture Study
Receiving Personal Revelation
Temple Attendance
Family History Research
Submission of Names for Ordinances
Indexing
Ministering
I may be missing others

I think scripture study and receiving personal revelation, especially combined with temple attendance should cover all the other bases as we are led by the Spirit to whatever the Lord would have us do. I'd be interested to read thoughts of others on this subject.

President Benson said, read the Book of Mormon, and everything else will basically fall into place.

But don't forget your regional, area and stake goals. Isn't it so simple, brothers and sisters? We just need to do these 5 things and the 5 other things and the 5 other things and everything the prophet says... that's how I feel, so I ignore all this stuff.

Personal revelation to save the day.
