There are plenty more names, plenty of people who came forward to explain that Polygamy as we know it, as was practiced after Joseph's death, was brought about by Brigham Young, not Joseph.

I see a parallel between Jacob's time and the 'religious order' established in the 'restored' Church in Salt Lake Valley.

I should also have said: I wonder if the degeneration of the Nephite society surrounding polygamy, unrighteous dominion, excess taxation in order to build palaces, develop real estate in order to support wine bibbing, and the enlistment of a 'priestly' caste were prominently described in the Record as a warning to us in the Latter-day Church?
