Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

I believe it. We know this will happen for the two witnesses. We think that everyone is going to know when the two witnesses are resurrected.
But what if it isn't everyone, it is the wicked who are going to know. After all the wicked are the ones who will kill them and celebrate. Obviously not for long.
When the devil can no longer successfully kill people, we know it's the end of his kingdom. His power is always the power of bloodshed.

Hmmm.... And what are we to do with this information, supposing it is correct?

A cousin of mine who has since passed spent his career of nearly 50 years in the funeral business in Salt Lake City with a company who to this day still handles all funeral arrangements with the Church. He had stories he could tell and stories he could not tell. I'll just leave it at that.

Fascinating! Did he ever share anything crazy in particular with you? Maybe crazy shouldn't be the word, spiritual in nature perhaps?

We are taught that children who die before the age of accountability are perfected in Christ, have no need of repentance or ordinances, and will be exalted. We area also taught that all the faithful people who were dead before the resurrection of Christ were resurrected at that time. However, there are plenty of bodies of children that have been unearthed or discovered which date back to before the time of Christ.
I can only come up with three explanations for this:
1) This doctrine is not true. I reject this possibility outright.
2) The dating of these bodies is inaccurate. Looking at the science of how these bodies are dated, including radioisotope dating and a review of artifacts in the immediate vicinity, I don't accept this possibility.
3) What gets pulled together to become our resurrected bodies doesn't include everything in our existing bodies. This seems the most plausible to me.
If number 3 is correct then something would be left behind in coffins. But there's something else that must come into play: faith. If these GAs are resurrected before burial and people become aware of this, it would be much more difficult for them to exercise faith when they have indisputable evidence.

He did. Frankly, some of the stories of the family members of general authorities were more interesting than some of the stories of them. When the mother of Ezra Taft Benson died, for example, conditions were very different. Days before she made arrangements for her home -- having the utilities and such stopped at a certain date, cancelling the paper, etc. She took care of all her own arrangements days in advance, then she called her son and said, I'll be leaving on Tuesday (or whatever day it was). Tuesday came, and the found that she had passed. The mortuary had already been given notice to come pick up her body -- a couple of days before.
He told many stories of a spiritual nature when the passing of a prophet happened -- times when one prophet appeared or spoke to another (Harold B Lee to SWK, for example). He said that when George Albert Smith died the veil was thin for many, even outside the Smith family.
As far as resurrected beings, no, I don't recall him knowing such stories.

President Nelson in his autobiography, written before becoming a GA, tells of visiting with Harold B. Lee twice after Lee had passed.

I have a feeling, that there are not that many resurrected beings on this earth yet. There were some in and around Jerusalem who were resurrected just after the Savior, as a witness of this truth and His Resswurection. There have been some others as in Abraham, John the Baptist ect., but nowhere have I seen evidence of a large number until the morning of the First Resurrection. This includes children.

We are also taught that parents of children that died young will have the opportunity to raise them. Perhaps that also has something to do with it. If they were resurrected, there would be no need for them to be raised up.

4. The Lord resurrects some and not others, as everyone has differing missions.
For example, not all the righteous were resurrected at Christ's resurrection. How do I know? Logic. If all the righteous resurrected, who preached the gospel to those in spirit prison? The righteous all ran over there for three days, then they all disappeared?
