Why do we say christ's name to cast out instead of heavenly father? Is there something christ did to make it so devil's will obey instead of using heavenly father?

I imagine it’s linked to the fact that when we ar spiritually begotten, we are spiritually begotten by Christ and he becomes our father, thus we take HIS name upon us and do all things in HIS name.

I agree. The Book of Mormon is very clear in teaching that Christ is the Eternal God, the creator of this Earth, and our Eternal Father. We also know that Satan wants this Earth and its inhabitants. That is the war that has been waged since our pre-Earth life, and it continues today. We know that Christ will win, but Satan's fight for our hearts and souls is continual. It's a battle between Christ and Satan. Christ has the power to cast Satan out.

Because we are children of Michael, who already defeated the dragon, and who Jehovah atoned for in Gethsemane and Golgotha.

Fertility = Power, that’s the grand archetype. Jesus will have children like the sand on the seashore. Satan will be left as sterile as any eunuch.

Ultimately Jesus’ authority trumps Satan’s because it continues, whereas Satan’s dies with him. That’s why his name is heavier, and holds more power.

Jesus is God because He can come back from Death. Lucifer can never make such a claim.

The Savior accepted our Heavenly Father's Plan, He was then accepted by the Father, and by us as the one who would Atone for all who would follow Heavenly Father's Plan, and repent and live His gospel. From the time of Adam and Eve, we have been commanded to do all things in His name.
In the very beginning of this earth’s history, Adam was commanded to worship the Lord in a certain way. After a while the Lord sent an angel to teach Adam the true form and meaning of what he was doing. “Wherefore,” the angel said, “thou shalt do all that thou doest in the name of the Son, and thou shalt repent and call upon God in the name of the Son forevermore.” (Moses 5:8.)
"And again, I say unto you, all things must be done in the name of Christ, whatsoever you do in the Spirit.” (D&C 46:31.)
"Therefore, whatsoever ye shall do, ye shall do it in my name." (3 Ne. 27:5–7.)
“We know that all men must repent and believe on the name of Jesus Christ, and worship the Father in his name, and endure in faith on his name to the end, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God.” (D&C 20:29.)
Even in the position Satan is in with a large amount of power to preserve our agency to be free to choose, he must obey certain laws, and cannot endure the presence of the Father and the Son, as we see in the first vision experience as he had to flee. When commanded to depart in the name of Jesus Christ, they, evil spirits, must obey and flee. That because of who the Savior is , including Him being our advocate with the Father makes perfect sense to me.
