You voters in Utah must really be proud of him.

I just love the comments at the bottom of the article.

He's such a loser. What a poor representative for the Church. He is single-handedly undermining missionary work, especially in the US. He has managed to make both Dems and Repubs disgusted, because he's insanely jealous of Pres Trump.
Thanks, Utah voters. NOT.

Mr. Romney will stop at little to garnish a little attention and press. The misfortune consists of a blatant display of disloyalty, lack of restraint and principle. A little "self-reflection" on his part would reveal the self-defeating behavior of undermining his own credibility. The "Press" will use him like a puppet to further their agenda and he will allow it because it is "easy," in order to be in the spotlight. His behavior amounts too little more than "grand standing" for attention.

I used to like him but in 2012 it’s like he didn’t care. Definitely disappointed in him now.

I have never voted for him. Ever.

I don't understand why everyone is so disappointed in him, or even why this tweet of his is offensive. I'm personally disappointed in him for supporting socialized medicine and gay "marriage" in Mass. But that was a LOOONG time ago. When he ran for president, he was the most squeaky clean candidate. They had nothing dirty on him. So there's that.
Yeah, he's outspoken against Trump, but... who ISN'T!?
I don't really follow politics that well so I don't know enough to understand the contempt for him. Another thing I don't understand is this: if the Mueller report said Trump had nothing to do with Russia (is that what it said? that's what I gleaned from headlines, at least) why is Mitt claiming there was Russian collusion?

Because Mitt is in no way a Republican. He considers himself a chameleon who can blend in with anyone, thus displaying his lack of person integrity.
And he now wants to blend in with the anti Trump nonsense that Trump colluded with the Russians and that was how and only how he won the election, as the great and wonderful Hella Beast could in no other way lose the election.
They simply can't admit that Trump won and the Hella Beast lost even tho' they had millions (maybe 6 million) fraudulent votes in there. And Mitt just follows along with that, sort of like a blind sheep.
dc
They simply cannot admit that the Hella Beast is a self interested evil monster who lost; that some people who are not blind can see that, or that people actually like Trump.
There is a quote out there from the Hella Beast, 2013, that she thought people like Donald Trump should run for office since he is honest, trustworthy, and couldn't be corrupted or bought (he doesn't need the money?). She got her wish, but forgot what she said, or meant, run against someone else, not her.

Count me as at least one person who is NOT outspoken against Trump.
There are some things he has done that don't sit well with me, but most of what he has done, and is doing, is pretty darn good. He is fighting tooth and nail to keep us out of a global government, and he has to contend with evil forces from all fronts. Yes, I count Mitt Romney as an evil force. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing, if you ask me.

Just like with the Russia thing, time will prove Romney right in what he's saying about Trump.
Trump is a weasel. Trump has no morals and the Muller Report showcases that in spades. He is an awful representative of the United States and despite what some of you support in the guy you can't change his spots.
Romney is a hopelessly flawed politician himself but he has NEVER been wrong about Trump.

Pres Trump did something Romney couldn't do, and that was to keep an evil, Godless, NWO candidate (Obama, Clinton) out of office. Trump is no weasel, and he has more morality than Romney ever thought of having.

I do believe strongly that Trump is fighting the Gadiantons. For that he has my respect. He is also deeply flawed. After seeing these comments, it strikes me as true that Romney would not fight them. And that makes me sad.

I think with your last question, you have actually partially answered your first question.

Not true by a long shot. Romney's calumny of Trump during his Hinckley Institute speech, contained demonstrably false accusations against Trump, which Romney had obviously gleaned from the MSM.

Utah has one really outstanding representative, Mike Lee. As far as the west goes, Jeff Flake was a flake, Harry Reed was even worse and that is saying something. I have written about Mitt before. As Charley Brown would say, ARGGG!!!! These last three I have mentioned, need to be put in a room with Ezra T. Benson's "Proper Roll Of Government" playing over and over for a hundred years.

I am pleased that some of you folks recognize the deficiencies in Mitt Romney as a candidate for government legislative or executive office. In past years I wrote many posts on LDSFF about the man and his demonstrated disdain for several principles of the U.S. Constitution and the proper role of government.
As for President Trump, I did not vote for him. I voted for Darrell Castle, the Constitution Party candidate. Had the CP not run a candidate, I might have voted for Ben Carson, although I think Donald Trump probably stood a better chance of beating Hillary Clinton. Like ori, I believe strongly that Trump is fighting the Gadiantons and frustrating the new world order conspiracy.. For that he has my appreciation, even I wonder if he really understands the NWO conspiracy. He is also deeply flawed. Mitt Romney has had time enough to wake up to our "awful situation" and it seems to me that he would not fight them. I suspect Romney may be bashing Trump now in hopes of winning the 2020 Republican primary election.

I will be voting for Trump in 2020 if he runs. No doubt about it. I don’t like him. I don’t think he’s a good person. BUT I think he IS the best person for the job.
My personal experience is this: during the previous presidential election, I prayed to know who to vote for. I got an answer I didn’t like: “vote for Trump”. It wasn’t a voice or anything crazy, just a feeling. Well, I doubted and then disobeyed that feeling, and voted for McMullin, because I couldn’t stomach voting Trump. And then I got this distinct impression that I should have voted Trump.
I feel I sinned and I have much to learn about following the Spirit. I learned a lesson that my ways are not the Lord’s ways. I must be open to strange impressions in the future.
Edit: my spouse reported a similar thing: when not having voted for Trump, getting the feeling of having voted for the wrong candidate.

I agree. This guy (Romney) has been more critical of Trump than he ever was towards Obama. That should tell you how two-faced he is. The man is the definition of RINO and basically the heir to John McCain, King of the RINOs. He only won the Utah Senate race by riding the coat tails of his religion and the low information Utah voters just saying "Muh 2002 Olympics!" Pathetic.
As for President Trump. He is the direct result not of Republicans or otherwise conservative Americans, but rather he is in office as a direct response to the unhinged lunatic frindge left in America. Trump is what you get when you tell conservatives to stop voting with their morals and religion and now a rightwing man is in power that the left hates more than Pat Robertson. This is what the left wanted, they can deal with it. I personally am enjoying their melt down and Trump's incredible ability to make them and their media allies repeatedly look like the crazy idiots they are.

I don't understand the uproar either I thought that was limited to SJW's. I hate seeing conservatives join outrage culture.
I just find his animosity toward Trump amusing.

I voted for Trump. First time I voted first party in several elections, but the controlling person over the Supreme Court nominees was important enough to vote for Trump. Happily he has done quite well for the country, despite his personal flaws.
McMullin was thrown into the mix to divide the Mormon vote and cost Trump some states. Thankfully it did not work and Trump still won.
Mitt still wants to be President. He will make another attempt if given the opportunity.

[quote[Mitt still wants to be President. He will make another attempt if given the opportunity.[/quote]
Mitt appears to like the aspects of running, but judging from past performances he is like the athlete who, just before crossing the finish line, slows down and lets the competition win.
Sad part is that there are some who are probably egging him on to run in 2020 so as to damage Trump and cause him to lose.

I don't think Trump has completely stopped the NWO conspiracy, but he certainly has slowed it down and cause it to expose itself. Ii just wish he would get shod of the globalists surrounding him.
