"But I did what I did legally and was not trying to become famous nor to ruin my life and privacy. Also, I have always appreciated that the Lord teaches us to do what is right, but He does not teach us to break laws in order to do it, I believe in the Lord, for my part, and I do not believe in the teachings of uninspired persons. Until He tells me it is okay now to break laws I will go on avoiding that."
Do you realize that the Constitution is law? So when our government is breaking the law (committing illegal, unconstitutional war and theft), you want to make sure you are protesting legally?
And again, if safety is a big concern, I assume you are against sending our boys to fight?

So, you are talking about three different things here and like, adding them together, which I suppose makes sense to you. The constitution is the supreme law of our country and the frame of our government. I am not protesting anything, if I did protest something, yes, I would do it legally. Safety, uh, what? I am generally against sending those of us who have served in the military to fight, because, in general it is only to benefit those seeking wealth and power rather than to defend ourselves from anything, I am very much against sending us to police an area. We who have served in the military are not diplomats or ambassadors and while we do obey the commands of those in line authority to give commands our real function is to kill the enemy - if we did that we would have much fewer world problems, not that we should just go on a killing spree, but do so when called for and not babysit. So, what is your point, if you have one?

And you say, "But I want to be famous and have a sex change."
Edward Snowden never had a sex change.
Ever heard of Chelsea Manning, formerly known as Bradley Manning?

Similar elements, but I was not actually talking about Snowden or Manning just trying to give an example of the fact that throwing yourself under the bus is not necessary, the reveal can done legally.

Ok, so let's say Assange and Snowden AREN'T traitors, but CIA agents, and most of what you see with them is a ruse, in the end.
What records did they release? "Some diplomat thinks a king in some country looks like a pig", or something like that. Anything massive? Really hard evidence (that we didn't already know about)? Eye-opening? Nah.
So where does this lead to?

What Snowden revealed was the government apparatus itself violating the rights of the American people. You expect the perpetrators would have treated him fairly? Who else out there has attempted to do things legally and then had a car accident?

Don't believe me when I tell you there is a way to get it done without ruining your life.
