Mark Zuckerberg lied to congress when he said:
“When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer,”
I deleted my facebook account around October 2018. The only reason I kept it that long was because I thought I could use it to do missionary work, but when I realized that even simple posts caused too much contention I deleted it. In March 2019 I decided to create a facebook page for my business and facebook required that I open a personal account before I create a business page. When I opened my personal account with my name and birthday they had dozens of suggestions of people to be my friends, all the people that were my friends before I deleted the account. Bottom line, Facebook never deletes your information. They will remember everything about you forever.

Mark: "So spank me."

I never used facebook. I have all FB servers blocked on my hosts file because even of you don't have FB they track you with cookies on sites that link to FB. As a side benefit, webpages load twice as fast when you block facebook and twitter.
