If you don't know for yourself, you won't know when you need it.

As the church has been changing it's domain address from lds.org to churchofjesuschrist.org, it is causing an interesting problem.
When I go to search for something on the official website, specifically scriptures or General Conference talks, I will be taken to an error page.
Luckily, I know where most of the things I want to find are located, it is just a little slower than using the search feature.
It occurred to me, that like the 10 virgins, where some were prepared, and some were not, if I didn't know for myself what the prophets and scriptures said, I wouldn't be able to find it right now.
If I assumed that the search feature would always be available, there would come a day when I would not have access to the truths I seek.
I testify that it is vital that we "know for ourselves" the gospel. The day is soon at hand when those who do not know for themselves, will not be able to find the truth they thought they had.
