A voice of reason!
"More than once, zealous “Bible-believing” Protestants have told me that, since Timothy already had enough scriptural material to “make (him) wise unto salvation” and to render him “perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” the Book of Mormon and modern revelation are unnecessary, redundant. They mistakenly assume that Paul was referring to the Bible as they know it. But, by their reasoning, the New Testament itself would seem to be superfluous, as well. (I generally congratulate such people on their apparent conversion to Judaism.)"lol!https://thirdhour.org/blog/faith/script ... ave-bible/
The earliest Christians didn’t believe in the New Testament. They couldn’t. It didn’t exist yet

Hey Kirtland... slight reminder... don't get carried away with the thread titles... keep them short if possible. If they get too long, the post buttons will cover them.

Right, I try to include as much information as will fit without losing anything in the heading, so that I can complete the thought of what the post is about. Not a "hanging chad".
