Final Warning for the "Free"

Post by Vesper »

To the Oppressors: Your excuses to ignore, oppress, spit on, silence, and defy those who challenge your ego are of the devil. You have no excuse. Feel big, feel mighty, in hell, with your brethren - I hope it was worth it, for small choices, have eternal consequences.

28 ¶ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

Alma 10:19
19 Yea, well did Mosiah say, who was our last king, when he was about to deliver up the kingdom, having no one to confer it upon, causing that this people should be governed by their own voices—yea, well did he say that if the time should come that the voice of this people should choose iniquity, that is, if the time should come that this people should fall into transgression, they would be ripe for destruction.

Alma 37:31
31 Yea, and cursed be the land forever and ever unto those workers of darkness and secret combinations, even unto destruction, except they repent before they are fully ripe.

D&C 61:31
31 And in that place they shall lift up their voices unto God against that people, yea, unto him whose anger is kindled against their wickedness, a people who are well-nigh ripened for destruction.

101:11
11 Mine indignation is soon to be poured out without measure upon all nations; and this will I do when the cup of their iniquity is full.

When I was in combat, I didn't really like being in the rear. Sure, the chance of getting hit was almost nil, but there was constantly some butterbar lieutenant, self-appointed to make sure every boot in the zone was shined properly, etc.

I preferred it on the line, where the action (and none of the BS) was. I still prefer to be "down in the valley". I also prefer the heavy yoke, because some people can hump a heavier ruck than others, that's all. If I am capable of doing so, it is my obligation (to my fellow man who might not be able to carry that much of load, to my Honor as a Brother to those people, and to my God who gave me the Priesthood Authority to act in His name) to do so.
Some folks need saving. Other folks are participating in salvation. They're called Saviors on Mount ZION.

Well all of us need saving but I think you get the point :)

I'm just wondering if I should put a paper bag over my head, or a plastic one over theirs?
lol - maybe keep pondering on that!
