Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple know everything about you. They know your friends, family, age, occupation, where you sleep, where you shop, what you buy, where you vacation, what you search for on the web, likes, dislikes, political views, religion, health information, phone number, address, contact information for all your friends. They know what you talk about in your home. They control the locks of your homes. Their software will recognize you in a picture. They know the sound of your voice.
Nothing like this has ever existed in our society before. They have a dangerous amount of power to manipulate information in ways to influence the morals of society, terrorism, and election votes.
Should these companies be divided up? Should there be limits on information that people willingly give them? Should there be government controls to make sure they don't use their power to manipulate or attack our society?
Capitalism was never intended to allow corporations to do whatever they want to make a buck. There have always been laws to regulate what they can do.
I think that these companies have too much power.

These companies are the government now.
What government is in a position in today's world to run without the software and technology these companies provide?
None.
Who rules who?

The US puppet government controls all those corporations, basically. They "supported" those companies to success, and will reap their rewards of all that information and collusion.
