Yeah I am serious and no you dont have to answer to me, thats not the point here.

Lighten up M&M,it was all in fun.
Wow someone sure pissed in your Cheerios. So if a guy happens to notice he is evil and not loyal or decent anymore but if a woman notices it’s perfectly normal? What if she had a same sex attraction is she then not decent or disloyal? Let him who is without sin cast the first stone...MMbelieve wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 8:43 pmYeah I am serious and no you dont have to answer to me, thats not the point here.

Actually no, no one pissed in my cheerios. Guys can come on here and say whatever they please about women but as soon as a female says something about a male...sandman45 wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 10:03 pmWow someone sure pissed in your Cheerios. What the heck does this have to do with gays??
His post was innapropriate and a bit offensive.
I understand that morals are shot these days, even in the church. And yes, I am loyal to my spouse in everyway so im not being a hypocrite here.
Salt Lake City probably has the least amount of "mormons" per capita than any other city in Utah, currently at about 20% LDS. In fact, Salt Lake County is only about 50/50 at best.EmmaLee wrote: ↑March 11th, 2019, 2:58 pm
Salt Lake City is ranked #6 for cities with the most plastic surgeons -
No. 6: Salt Lake City, Utah Of course. Utah's capital and biggest, most well-known city was also ranked "America's Vainest" in Forbes.com's survey back in 2007, which also utilized ASPS data, not to mention "Fittest City in America" by "Men's Fitness". But since we found that Salt Lake City had about 24 plastic surgeons per 100,000 people, we thought it still deserved a pretty high spot in our survey.
I'm calling BS on that one

I served a mission and I didn't know anyone, from Utah or anywhere else, who had a picture of a GA in their wallet.
The most arrogant missionaries I served with were from Texas, California and Utah, but the Utah one wasn't originally from Utah- his family moved there from California while he was in the military. So basically 2 from Cali. The laziest comp I had was from Florida. The best example of unrighteous dominion came from an Elder from Oklahoma.
Maybe not their inplants but I am sure things may be back to before babies.buffalo_girl wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 7:29 pm Do Utah women get to keep their implants in the Resurrection?
Even when one's superior knowledge/spirituality is, in fact, without disputation, will 'put downs' of those deemed spiritually and/or intellectually inferior impact one's assigned degree of Glory?
I would love to have my stomach fixed from having babies. I will never get my flat abs back without medical help. They separated with my first baby. My husband loves me and says he doesn't care. I DO. I hate that I will never look the way I want to again. I can go to gym and eat right and will never get what I want. I know several women who feel the same. It's not their husband's, it's them wanting it done.iWriteStuff wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 10:39 am It's a shame some husbands can't love their wives for who they are rather than what they look like. Especially after they've given them a healthy posterity.
I agree. If a woman wants to fix things up with some implants or whatever what is the difference between that and having braces to correct crooked teeth? Is that vanity?LadyT wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 7:58 amI would love to have my stomach fixed from having babies. I will never get my flat abs back without medical help. Why is that, I wonder? I have heard the same from my brother who lives there.shadow wrote: ↑March 12th, 2019, 11:24 pmSalt Lake City probably has the least amount of "mormons" per capita than any other city in Utah, currently at about 20% LDS. I can't speak for everyone, but the people I know who had braces did so for dental/health reasons, not cosmetic (although that was a by-product, obviously). Their bite was off so much that it was damaging their other teeth, plus, giving them TMJ and headaches. So there are legit medical reasons for having braces (some may be done solely for vanity though, who knows).Fiannan wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 8:12 amI agree. My husband and I are both in braces (well, Invisalign) for the second time. Mine are purely for cosmetic reasons...I used to have beautiful teeth, but they had shifted over the years and bothered me (vanity, I guess), his because the dentist said if he didn't restraighten his bottom teeth they were going to start falling out because they were crowding so much. The first time I had them as a child it was for functional reasons...but there were definitely cosmetic benefits. Now if I had only worn my retainer I could have saved myself a lot of money and inconvenience...my husband too!EmmaLee wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 11:20 amI can't speak for everyone, but the people I know who had braces did so for dental/health reasons, not cosmetic (although that was a by-product, obviously). I am convinced that Utahans are just miserable because none of them can cook.

So they are a lot like the rest of the decaying society we call the USA?I've heard lots of stories like this about members in Utah. They are up to their eyeballs in debt, porn, drugs, depression, bankruptcy, and suicide at levels that top the nation or are at near the top.....and they are the bishops, stake presidents, relief society presidents, and elders quorum presidents of the church in Utah. This is not a blanket statement to crap on all the Utah members. But clearly the "message" of the gospel is not getting through to or being lived by the masses there.
I dunno, I live in Louisiana, and there have been some pretty scary and I'd even say inedible dishes at ward social events here...maybe it's a Mormon thing more than a state thing.buffalo_girl wrote: ↑March 13th, 2019, 10:01 pmI am convinced that Utahans are just miserable because none of them can cook.

You may be on to something!
While at BYU, I had the opportunity of spending a few hours talking with a long haul trucker passing through Provo. He was Jewish with his home base in NYC. He always made it a point to drive through Provo because, as he claimed, LDS young women were the most beautiful in the United States.
We got onto the subject of regional cooking. He felt Utah was a dismal failure as far as cuisine was concerned. I lived in Utah for nearly ten years, but came from Oregon. My taste in food was a lot different than what I found in Utah. The one unique Utah dish, for me, was fresh strawberry pies. I haven't found any to equal those found in Utah. My trucker buddy had to agree that Utah's fresh strawberry pies were the state's culinary standout!
