Pope Francis suggests change to “Lord’s Prayer” supporting Joseph Smith’s Translation
Pope Francis, the current Pope of the Catholic Church, has proposed a change to the “Lord’s Prayer” that surprisingly correlates with Joseph Smith’s Translation of the Bible.http://ldsanswers.org/pope-francis-sugg ... anslation/

Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Let us not be led into temptation, deliver us from evil:

For ever and ever.

Good point
I have often wondered about the scrolls and old books the Catholic church has in their Vatican library which they keep to themselves and allow no outsiders in to look at, perhaps Pope Francis was perusing over such a book when he made this discovery?
Now we have stronger ties with this church they may allow us a glimpse of what they hold?
I think these scrolls and old books would reveal that the JST is indeed close to the original and much, much more, before the 47 scholars carried out their translation and produced the KJV!
The scrolls and books will be opened at some point I hope we don't have to wait until the millennium to see it happen, I don't mind it coming in "dribs and drabs" but alas I can't see it happening because in essence if they did they would be "shooting themselves in the foot" because it would ultimately reveal their false doctrine!
We shall see!

I would love to hear their story
Just looked at something about eternal marriage she discovered before she was kicked out, I hope she discovered more than this before she exited!

Re: Pope Francis suggests change to “Lord’s Prayer” supporting Joseph Smith’s Translation
Updated spacing of my version/adaption of:
The Lords’ Prayer.
Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on Earth,
As it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily needs.
Forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Let us not be led into temptation,
Deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.
The Lords’ Prayer.
Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done on Earth,
As it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily needs.
Forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Let us not be led into temptation,
Deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.
