If You Knew You Were Going to Die
If you were told you only had a week to live what would you do in those last 7 days and what words would you have on your gravestone representing your life's work?

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
I would love everybody around me, be extra prayerful, visit the good people I know who are poor in spirit. I'd also make sure our estate was in order for a smooth transition to my wife and kids. This world is so wearisome sometimes that I have mild envy for the people I know who die, and a lot have passed recently. Maybe I'd be cremated.

What saying would you have on your gravestone if you had one?
Of all the millions of words which ones would you to choose, and what would be the message you would leave for the world to see?

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
I don't want a headstone. If I had one I want my maiden name on it. I would put Families are forever if I had to write things.
If I knew I only had a week left, I would have a staycation with my family. Stay up playing games with the kids. I would record me reading books for my little ones. I would give advice for all of them. I would spend all the time I could with my husband and kids.

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
If I had a week left, I would make sure that my loved ones will keep following Christ. I would call everyone I know and tell them to seek Christ.
As for the headstone: "No regrets"

Here lies Ed,
and the last thing he said,
" Hold My Beer And Watch This!"

Here lies the body of Robin Hood
Who died maintaining that Dusty was good
He was right, dead right, as he argued long
But now he's dead, he could have been wrong

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
I would spend every moment with my husband and children and grandson (and maybe some time with other loved ones). I would want to take a few trips with my family - see some things I've always wanted to see. Get all my belongings in order, so my husband and kids wouldn't have to do it after I died.
As for words on my headstone - funny answer - "I'm BAAACK!!!"
Sincere answer - 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
If I found out that I was going to die in one week I would ask around and find someone to watch my dog next weekend then write several letters, thanking people who were big blessings in my life. I would leave them on the kitchen table with a note asking they be dropped in a mailbox.
I'm not sure that I would survive the entire seven days. Not having people I feel like I could tell, not having any chance of being surrounded by love, I think I would again want to suck start my shotgun.

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
I would visit all of my family one more time and on my last day of expected life I would spend the entire day at the temple with my wife.
On my headstone:
I can't believe it's not better!

I would go skydiving and eat all my favorite foods and make up a will and tell all the people from my life all the things I've wanted to tell them. Spend time with my family and then go out with a BANG.

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
I would write advice to my kids and in general, I would spend time with my family and that would be it. I would also be thankful that I had life insurance for once.
On my gravestone, I don't know what I would put. Maybe: "Never stop trying" or something like that. HArd to say if I would put anything tbh.

Re: If You Knew You Were Going to Die
As I'm reading the responses and thinking of what I would do, I wonder why I'm not doing those things already... way to make me feel guilty dusty.. haha
