Yeah, he's not promoting the company. My assumption is that the company had some family/business ties to some General Authority so they asked if they'd make a cool video to celebrate and Monson was more than willing to make a quick video for the employees or something.

Were Peter, James, and John involved in insurance companies? Would Jesus have countenanced such a thing? He eschewed worldly ambitions, saying that his Kingdom was NOT of this world. He wanted to orient people towards God's kingdom, not toward any earthly one.

It was prophetic. He knew it was going to die and he was trying to comfort the living that they can be with their insurance provider again.
