Freedom. We Will Have to Take Out The Government.

I was having this dream where I was going around telling people that if I could, I would become President of the United States for the sole purpose of taking out the Federal Government.

I was saying things like, "You know, you can never really own your home or land, right? Even if you have paid all your debts, mortgages, and liabilities, you are obligated by a small group of people to pay perpetual rent on your property for the rest of your life. If you die, your children must pay or sell the property to someone who will, otherwise the government will take it from you.

And, "Think about how little the taxes were when the Founding Fathers decided they had had enough. We pay something like 60% of our property to the government."

Or this, "How is being a citizen of the United States much different than being under control of the Mafia? On top of income tax, sales tax, fuel tax, dining tax, and an endless list of other miscellaneous taxes put on business owners and property owners, vehicle registration and other fees, etc., we are also required by law to have pay insurance or pay a fee. Not to mention the outrageous expense of every area in which the government has meddled, like healthcare.

I don't know all the things I dreamed, but I do have more things to say, so keep reading if you feel like it. This is my rant on why we need to make the Federal and State governments walk the plank.

This means that in our homes, we should have absolute power. In our towns, the town government should have absolute power, except on personal property, lands, homes. In our counties, outside of our towns, in matters regarding other counties,the counties should have absolute power. In our state, between counties and in matters regarding other states, the state should have absolute power. The Federal goverment should only have power regarding our borders and in relations to other countries.

In reality, the Federal Government now holds absolute control over all aspects of our lives, except when it allows states to exercise authority, and the state holds all power except where it allows counties to officiate. It is the same all the way down and the people now have zero liberties, unless the government doesn't find out or care what we are doing.

FOOD

Because of government restrictions on agriculture and food distribution and consumption, it is literally illegal in many instances to eat healthy. We cannot consume raw milk unless we jump through certain hoops. The same goes for citrus juices. Our grains have been tampered with. Our sweeteners have been tampered with. You know they put high-fructose corn syrup in everything because it is basically free, right? The government subsidizes the production of corn, and pays farmers to NOT grow crops to create a scarcity mentality and keep the cost of food high. Farmers who don't obey the restrictions on growth and sales lose their farms, property, and livelihood.

When I was on my mission in Mexico, I would hear the locals complain that the best of their fruit harvests every year were shipped off to the United States and they were left with the stuff that the Americans didn't want. But did you know it is illegal for a citizen to bring a bag of fruit through the border?

Think about the nation's craze against fat. I am currently on a ketogenic diet, meaning my body is running on fat. I can't tell you how hard it is to find food for this diet because the fat has been stripped out of almost everything I can buy in the store. Did you know the fat your body creates when it has had too many carbs and the insulin shoots up is more dangerous than any other kind of fat? Did you know fat is a much more stable and consistent fuel for our bodies? If you don't, it's probably because our entire society as a whole has been brainwashed, and regulations have been bought by wealthy businesses who have bribed our government to create restrictions that we don't need. In fact, almost every restriction we have in this nation is a restriction we don't need.

HEALTHCARE

There are two times in our life over which the Lord demands control. They are the time of our birth and the time of our death. And for everything in between, he asks us to trust him and not rely on the arm of flesh. The Book of Mormon teaches that there are special herbs and plants which can be used for the different types of illness.

In years past, our healthcare consisted mostly of holistic men and women who knew and used these herbs and plants, and who could also do things like setting bones. Now, you might argue that some of these people did awful things like in the case of Alvin Smith who was given calomel oil and thereafter died of mercury poisoning. We could use this example to show that doctors back in the day didn't know much. Or, we could use this example to show that manmade medicines are not the answer.

Why are there so many prescription medications? Why are pharmaceuticals so heavily promoted? Why are holistic medicines and practitioners so often thrown under the bus persecuted and excoriated? The simple answer is money. You cannot patent a natural substance. Our bodies are natural, and so, naturally, the best things for our bodies are natural things. But the problem is nobody can get as rich off a natural substance as they can with a patented, man-made substance. Of course, then, the only answer is to convince people to choose synthetic medicine over natural, God-made medicine. What could go wrong? Now, is it the government's fault that the Rockefellers and Rothschilds infiltrated our colleges and hospitals and ruined our healthcare?

Yes, yes it is. Because where we were once free to choose what we wanted, because of lobbying and bribery, we are now required legally to choose man over God. If you don't think so, then you don't remember the story of the girl who was diagnosed with cancer who wanted to treat it naturally but was court-ordered to undergo chemotherapy, a most horrific and deadly procedure created by evil men to kill citizens slowly while making them dependent on several expensive drugs for the rest of their lives.

It goes beyond what is or isn't technically legal as well, because doing things naturally is so stigmatized nowadays that no woman would ever dream of delivering a child at home because of the legal hoops and cultural bias she would have to combat. However, I know from experience that the only way to have a pain-free birth experience is to do it away from the doctors and nurses. Pregnancy is not a medical emergency. It is a normal physical state. It does not require a doctor to initiate pregnancy and it does not require a doctor to end pregnancy. Everyone in the world for most of the world's history knew that, but in our day we. have. been. brainwashed.

EDUCATION

Our schools are basically cesspools of brainwashing, and that is in spite of the many wonderful people who want to be good educators. I know, my father has been a teacher for the last 29 years and most of my teachers from K-12, and some of my college professors as well, were great people. But any good that came from those years was in spite of the government, and in many instances because those teachers chose to do things they were not permitted to do, like skipping and adding some things not allowed from the top.

Our children are given worthless educations that they will never use, and are taught that only through increasing levels of degrees and higher education will they ever been worth anything or achieve anything in this life. Not only does this put unwitting young adults in a horrible situation of being in debt for most of their adult life, but it has also led to us allowing our government to take our tax money and give it to universities to allow students "free" education. Now the technical class is disappearing.

You can find a lawyer on every street corner but we are running out of people who can fix pipes or roof a house or build a cabinet. What is our solution? We hire the Mexicans. Complain all you want about wanting a wall on our border, I know who built most of the houses we live in, and they weren't American.

Think about what you were taught in school and tell me how you use it today. I'll wait. If you did not pursue a professional degree in a field in which you now work, it is not likely that high school diploma did you much good.

Parents have relinquished the responsibility of raising their own children and the government was more than willing to take our money and our children.

Hmm... I have waxed long in typing. I haven't even mentioned how shredded our constitution is. They are coming for our guns, which means we are the next Germany if we don't defend our right to form a militia to protect ourselves against an oppressive government. The second ammendment has nothing to do with hunting, it is about being able to have more firepower than the government. Guess who doesn't like that? Yep. The Government.

There is no longer any such thing as religious freedom.

There is no longer any such thing as public land.

There is no longer such a thing as freedom of speech.

There is no longer freedom of the press.

There is no longer freedom from warrantless search and seizure.

We have gone from "any power not specifically given to the government shall remain to the people" to "any power not specifically given to the people shall be with the government" and they have specifically taken away all our rights and power.

I agree with that but I think a lot more people are awake to the problems than are given credit. They just don't know what to do about it.

I think to understand something, people usually need to go two levels farther. For example, if you want to know algebra, then you have to learn trigonometry and calculus, for example. Then you won't forget algebra.

So when people hear that the world is like this, they are like "I know [they only know partially] but I don't know what to do about it so why think about it."

The government may fail itself for us. Then the question becomes, can we take care of ourselves? People have decided no for decades. We need police, we need laws, we need taxes, we need libraries, we need roads, we need post office, we need government jobs, welfare, social security, healthcare, education, bank bail outs, farm subsidiaries, state and national parks, department of public motors, property taxes, pollution taxes, public utilities, mental institutions, public broadcasting, military draft, food stamps, baby formula, business only real estate, non-farming real estate, gun restrictions, mineral rights restrictions, water restrictions, hunting restrictions, wildlife preserves, truck weight restrictions, estate tax, free breakfast, lunch and dinner for school children, lemonade stand restrictions, business restrictions, fishing restrictions, drug restrictions, chemical regulation, importing regulation, someone to call if your neighbor is bugging you so you don't have to go talk to them. We want the government to do everything.

Come on guys, what have I left out?

Most people do not want freedom. Not by a long shot.
