Our Unique Method for Knowing the Truth?

I've always been taught that the way to know about the truthfulness of the church and its doctrines and beliefs is to pray about it, which I've done over the years, but is this the same method used by people of other religions, do they also pray and get a spiritual experience confirming to them that Methodism for example is the truth?
Have we got a monopoly on how to find truth? Surely seeking truth should be the same for any human wherever they are and whatever language they speak! We are taught that God is no respector of persons so how can this be? For people to join a religion they must have some sort of spiritual experience, where does this come from? Are we denying the authenticity of what they experience? if we claim to have the truth which is confirmed through the spirit what are all these other people experiencing?

Any human can find the truth. I don't understand the rest of the question.

We claim we have the truth and the spirit will reinforce that through the holy ghost
My question is doesn't the holy ghost reinforce the truth to someone looking into the Methodist religion for example? they claim that they've found the truth as much as we do, so what's going on?

It's a valid question. You can find all kinds of videos on YouTube of people retelling their spiritual experiences, and even supernatural experiences, that led them to believe X religion is the one and only true religion. That attitude in our missionary efforts can be a real turn off... but that doesn't mean one shouldn't share what they believe to be the truth.

Stuff happening on the “same day or soon” is what Joseph Smith said, and David A. Bednar simply said “timing” was an important clue. Intuitively timing is like a special case of unexpected phenomena. 1day is a search term for related stuff, as Joseph could of said “one day” or soon, but rather he said “same day” instead. Searching mias, may also shed light on the situation.

Do you think “same day” could include the same date of different years :?:

1 : lasting a very short time
2 : lasting one day only
Spoiler
Not the tightest definition, for sure. no wonder JS spelled it out for us.
