Hi everyone. I just joined up. I hope to have some fun here. I also started a movement to make a new government. Its called New Oceana. The goal is to eventually move to some uninhabited Isalnds in the Pacific and form a new government. Hopefully I can find some people here interested in starting this with me.

Now for the spanking While I commend you for the idea, and I checked out your site for New Oceana, it lacks in apparent planning and thoroughness. It sounds cool, but needs some serious thought and research if you are serious about it. Anyway, good on you for trying. I would love to 'get away'...at the same time, I would love to stay and go down with the ship...fighting to the end.

How many people do you have in support of this idea? I didnt see any other participation your site although the site suggest something to the effect of a group?

Tropical island sounds nice but this doesnt look very realistic. Is it a joke?

Nope it's not a joke. Very serious. I'm just starting the idea. That's why there's no planning yet because no one else is interested to help with planning. It' a start from the ground up.

I nominate Dr. Jones to be the professor. Mark will make the perfect Gilligan. jbob can play the role of the millionaire Thurston Howell III and his wife "Lovey" by B-girl. The skipper would have to be CHH. The movie star Ginger could be ChelC and Mary Ann.... Charity??

Actually there's not only one island. There's over thirty target islands, ranging from Northern Mariana to Pitcairn.

I've heard of a fellow planning to build some sort of floating island, or an oil-rig type island... and establish an independent nation.
Also, the Lakota (or some of them) are talking about sovereignty...

I've also heard of a New Jerusalem to be built...

IS everyone following the New banking and silver currency being offerd by the Lakota now?

I noticed the news of what the Lakota are trying to do with their bank and their proposed effort to secede... and wonder how they will fare.
