None of this seemed real to me until I moved to my current city. The very day I arrived, they were having a "Gay Pride" march through the down town area. The parade was led by the local police and attended by the mayor and other dignitaries. This in a small (pop. 75000 or so) western Canada, conservative city with a large LDS population. I remember thinking that some day God will probably destroy this nation because of this kind of deliberate evil supported by the government. Later the same year, they painted "Rainbow Pride" crosswalks at one intersection, and the local university was flying a "Gay Pride Raibow" flag at their main entrance. It really is the time of the end.

This isn't as shocking as the videos posted above, but I find it deplorable that pro-LGBT articles like this are in a publication from Deseret Book, which is owned by the Church. Today's LDS church is on the spectrum of gay lifestyle acceptance.

Just pushing the needle. That's all these articles are doing. There are individuals embedded at high locations (editors-obviously of LDSLiving), I'm sure even GA who if their true opinions on SSA were known they would be kicked out. There are probably even a few GA's who would (if they were allowed to) consider themselves bi or homo.

These articles are temperature takers. Push the narrative a bit-see how much (if any) pushback they get. Then push the narrative a little bit more. Boiling frog. Once you see the agenda-the end-goal it becomes pretty obvious.

While these videos are directly related to this topic, I bring them up b/c they illustrate the symbolism and patterns in the world that are being pushed. Once you recognize the pattern-it becomes really obvious.

If pre-pubescent children can claim to be the opposite sex of what their genitals and chromosomes prove they are - if they can essentially 'force' people to refer to them as the opposite sex (teachers are getting fired for calling boys 'boys' and girls 'girls' when they want to be called the opposite, etc.) - then it's only a matter of time (and probably not much of it) before it will be legal and the 'norm' for children to have sex with anyone, of any age, that they want. And it's only logical - if a boy child can insist that he's a girl child, and society must comply - who are we to say who he/she can/can't have sex with? I dont think i can say an obvious male is a female. I dont care about their name but calling a man a woman is dishonest, i would always have to say “this guy who thinks hes a woman”. Honesty is a vital part of the principles I prescribe to...

Im all for having compassion and understanding and not judging others by extending charity and have zero problem doing this for all of Gods children but when it crosses the line of me compromising my base standards of honesty or taking away from the straight and narrow for me then I will be against it. Its only when something is asking me to put aside my own path to follow truth that it has declared itself against all truth and thus becomes the enemy.

I've mentioned before on this forum that I had a gay friend. We met in the temple. Not to brag, but I was a very kind and loving friend, and I didn't think less of her when she told me she was same-sex-attracted. However, she was always trying to NOT have gay thoughts and feelings, and she pleaded with God both for forgiveness and healing. She was in the closet to almost everyone, except a very few friends. She died before gay marriage was made legal nationally, and we never discussed it, but I do wonder what she would think about Ostler, the Augensteins, and the pro-gay LDS groups. I don't think she would approve.

I believe the day will come soon that no one is “special” anymore and it will not matter if feelings are hurt as the hard truth will be raised as a standard and nothing else will be preached. Perhaps when the time of the gentile is fulfilled. Right now we accept and love and “bend” to all kinds of subpar standards and behaviors, it will not always be this way. The wheat and tares must need be seperated. We are leading up to this with everything that is happening now. We truly are allowing the wheat and tares to fully mature in a nice safe field together- exactly as God would have it be. We all know that it will not always be this way. The wheat will be tested to the extreme in the coming years.

The truth about love is that it always looks out for the betterment and well being of that person receiving it. Calling a man a woman is not love, calling that person a man is love.
