I have no idea, but I thought the same thing! I have read the book myself, but I am really enjoying this - I'm about halfway thru.

Re: C.S. Lewis "The Problem of Pain"
C. S. Lewis was an amazing writer and theologian
Thanks for the post
His works have been regularly cited for many years by apostles and other leaders of the church, specifically Neal A. Maxwell and Jeffrey R. Holland to mention but two
Although not an LDS member he provides insightful and refreshing viewpoints into our experience, it seems to go along with our belief system, his is an important voice, one which provides an alternative view which does make sense
One can learn a lot from this man!
He is evidence that we don't have a monopoly on truth!
My particular favourites:
Mere Christianity (1952)
Screwtape Letters (1942)
A Grief Observed (1961)
Well worth a look when you've got a minute!
You'll be better off for doing so!

God in the Dock is also very good. Abolition of Man isn't exactly theological, but a valuable insight into the path mankind is on. The Pilgrim's Regress is good if you enjoy allegory. All of the ones you listed, Dusty52, I entirely agree.
If you enjoyed Screwtape Letters, I highly expect you would enjoy The Great Divorce as well. In fact that is possibly my favorite Lewis book.

Another good author is John Bunyan and his most valuable work
The Pilgrim's Progress
He was also widely quoted by leaders in the church
Well worth a read!
It would be interesting to take a look at the authors quoted in general conference

Another day, another C.S. Lewis audiobook. Another good reader, and especially for Dusty52, I chose today "The Great Divorce".

I have this book in PDF format if anyone would like it. Definitely a personal favorite after multiple readings last year. Quick read, but life changing.
