Does anyone else experience this?
When you are around some people you can feel a positive vibe without a word being said other people you can get a negative vibe from. I have often wondered what vibes I give out?
I think you can do something about how you are perceived, if you are living the gospel and keeping your covenants you are entitled to the companionship of the Holy Ghost, hence you can see this clean and clear spirit in people's eyes!
When people are not doing what they should be doing then in my experience they are not easily inclined to look at you square in the face, they avert their gaze! It seems like they are hiding something?
What you don't say sometimes speaks louder than what you do say!

It’s often what you don’t say, that makes the greater statement.
Very similar to once was my waking thought.BeNotDeceived wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2017, 1:24 amI awoke thinking those words; perhaps they're inspired; in any event I've adopted them as my signature. On The Fringe wrote: ↑November 15th, 2017, 12:15 am BeNotDeceived. Interesting statement. What is said in private will be shouted upon the rooftops.
News media often make a big deal about what Trump doesn't say, such as, in their eyes, failure to denounce David Duke, as one example.
Maybe Trump doesn't wish to shine the spotlight on such a controversial character, but a big deal is made of what he doesn't say.![]()

Some of this is true. Some of it is not.Dusty52 wrote: ↑July 23rd, 2018, 4:16 am Does anyone else experience this?

I would advise not to simply assume someone is "not doing what they're supposed to do" because of things like averting gaze, for example. I spent most of my teenage years averting the gazes of church leaders because their "position" made me uncomfortable. I had made them out to be these power-figures, so I didn't meet their eyes. They always thought the same thing - must be doing something wrong!
I asked my mission president why he released me as a district leader after one transfer (blessing! but I was curious). He said "you don't inspire confidence with the way you can't look at me in the eye". I looked at everyone else in the eye just fine.
Things like feeling energy and vibes might sometimes be on the mark, but they might also just be your prejudices and experiences making a "gut call".

I wonder if Mike Norton looks the temple workers in the eye as he records the endowment on his little spy camera?
