Has it always existed?
To have good you must have evil?
Isn't the purpose of life to choose the good?
Was evil introduced in the war in heaven?
So it didn't exist before then?

I hope you don't mind all my comments but you are posting good questions!

I think fundamentally good is anything that promotes life (anything leading to immortality), and evil is anything that promotes death (the eventual loss of your spirit body.)

So it has always existed since life has always existed.
