From what I am understanding it is believed that the Canaanites were these "Nephilim". Science seems to indicate that the Canaanites were just normal human beings. In fact, the evidence is starting to point towards the idea that the Israelites were themselves a subset of Canaanites. So, Canaanites can't be the Nephilim and the Nephilim can't be the Canaanites. But, perhaps Canaanite/Nephilim isn't a theory/idea that you are operating under.

With that in mind, I should probably post something about giants.

The Book of Enoch has been central to many of my studies - the later chapters of 1 Enoch align to my studies with the Davidic Servant beautifully and reinforce many things I have learned through study, prayer, and well, personal revelation. As such, I am convinced 1 Enoch absolutely has truth in it. Within the same scripture is a story of the watchers and further expounds on the Nephilim and why God wanted them destroyed. I have not studies these chapters in depth, but since they are a part of the same work where I have found so much light and illumination, I can't help but wonder if these elements are also true. I also believe that the book of Enoch has truth in it and the Watchers are real.

Satan is Bound for the millennium, after he's let out he gathers his armies and the last battle commences. How could the last battle take place between Michael and other resurrected beings and Satan and his army who are just as spirits??? That's where I believe all this might lead with Watchers and Nephilim... Satan has a plan, and I believe that plan involves creating some sort of body.

Just a theory, obviously.

I know what the Nephilim are supposed to be, but what exactly are the Watchers? I've heard that term a few times, could someone explain it plainly?

Yes, Satan does have a plan, and it is indeed a twisted one. I dunno that it involves creating a body for himself, although that is a possibility. I do know that Satan has at least 1 ace up his sleeve (possibly more) that make this whole war for our souls not nearly as cut and dried as we'd like to believe, and at least one "I'm taking you down with me" contingency plan in case he actually does lose. That doesn't mean that he will win in the end, but it makes things all the more dangerous for us.

I was unaware of the Nephilim being equated to Canaanites - I've always thought them to be a subset and not a populous race, though that could just be how my brain interpreted what I've learned in the past. I do feel there were actual giants, though I have not dedicated a lot of study to this topic yet. Maybe I'll re-read 1 Enoch's first 30 chapters when I get some time.

Okay, two questions:

Is there a spiritual element to our DNA?

Do you believe in the future the Church will make a statement in regards to creating hybrids?

There is some research indicating that cell membranes have receptors for electro-magnetic radiation of certain frequencies, even of the light spectrum. LIght, of course, is intimately involved w/quantum phenomenon, which carries the 'baggage' of being susceptible to the spooky characteristics of the quantum realm.

My suspicion is that quantum phenomena (instantaneous communication over distances, collapse phenomenon, non-localized space, etc.) is the bridge between our world and the unseen world. This is where our DNA may very well be susceptible to this kind of interaction.

One wonders if the Nazi communications with outside entities (i.e. The Vril Damen) and many of our tech wizards using LSD and other mind altering drugs to help them connect to other dimensions are related. I have heard the idea that if one's brain is compromised it can lead to a near-death experience so as long as you don't use too much then you do not die, but can meet entities for inspiration. Maybe since God told Satan his DNA could not reproduce with Eve then there are ways that synthetic DNA could allow for him to enter this dimension.

There was an article in the Psychedelic Review from about 1972 or 73 by a medical doctor who studied and compared experiences (aka halucinations) of both schizophrenics and those who induced similar experiences using LSD.

He found that both groups had encounters/exeriences with both dark and light 'forces' in equal proportions. His conclusion was that we, on this earth, are living between 'forces'/entities that are either good or bad . . . that we are here to experience both so we can choose one or the other. However, the bad experiences outweighed the good ones.

I think they might be (at least somewhat) what their stated to be in the Book of Enoch. Traitorous angels who turned to coat during the time of the first sons of the family of Adam. I believe the they are the Angels mentioned in Revelations chapter 9 that are bound.

14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Reading the book of Enoch and so much of it is symbolic that I am going to assume "giant" is symbolic as well.

The offspring of the fallen angels (i.e. men of God who parted from the truth and went after worldly women) were the giants. My thought is that them being giants was more symbolic of their status among the people, that they were the rulers, they had some kind of power, status, influence. They also possibly received teaching from their fathers that allowed them to attain this status. They were the children of angels that entered into a secret combination.
