Antifa and the Book of Mormon

There are Youtube videos showing the activities of Antifa, but they are so vile, so disgusting, so full of vulgarity that I can't even post them.
If they were to pick up speed and really take hold, do we have anything to be concerned about? What are some remedies?
Any thoughts?

Are Mormons apathetic toward what is going on right now, today, concerning hate filled people rallying and stirring up trouble in so many cities around the country?
Is the topic too scary?
Is there really no danger to worry about?

your observation is correct. these “hate filled people” have declared war on God and on the truth. but what exactly are you proposing? that the saints call their own arms now and meet them full-on?
perhaps it will come to that; it that’s the case, doubtless the timing is in God’s hands.

I don't think Mormons are apathetic. But I haven't explained this well when it's come up on other people asking about the difference between when you should jump in politically and when you shouldn't. This is also hard to explain.
But what we have to realize is that the scriptures are clear that the rest of the world is collapsing in iniquity, immorality, and violence. Zion will be the only safe place not just for Mormons but for everyone eventually. 'Peace will be taken from the Earth'. It doesn't say part of the Earth in that. It says...'The Earth'. Its' hard for us to imagine that. Also the scriptures, and talks of past leaders quoting what they 'saw' ahead as 'living in times like the days of Noah'.
This is why it's a really bad idea to start a persecution against Mormons movement. *Coughs*...because this will be where peace and law abiding people will need to go to in the end. You wouldn't want to hurt your chance of survival and last place to go to. And it will get pretty scary. This is why the church has to look neutral for as long as it can; ark simulation but rather than an Ark, Zion is the ark.
There's meaning the phrase, 'stand ye' in holy places'.
While the rest of the world becomes lawless, eventually the last bastion of freedom, religious freedom and only place with peace is going to be Zion. This is going to be similar to Zion areas becoming like an ark for everyone who wants to be good or who love Jesus.
This is also why some people have wondered why the church isn't getting into political stuff anymore. Eventually too many things going on at once and too many being too hot to handle will make it that way. In the early church days they were encouraged to use the law for relief and its in the D&C. But there's also parts where it says to back off and 'the Lord will help them with relief for the wrongs done' but at a later date, usually in parable form. They were told this in regards to losing property in Missouri and Illinois, Nauvoo.
This is also Isaiah saying Lord make bare your holy arm in the eyes of the nations --> translation; relieve the suffering of the innocent, protect the saints who are trying to live worthy & repenting, stop the bad in the world, and come back to rule because only tyrants are left to exist in power who rule in blood and horror on this Earth.
Please refer to the story of Gidgidoni and Laconeus in the Book of Mormon. We aren't quite yet at that time, but we're approaching a period where so much bad is happening that it will slowly look more and more like stories like this. (Antifa similarities? The robbers wore a lamb skin dripped in blood...Antifa is using blood imagery now? Shrug...I'm not an Antifa expert.)
Think about some of the things President Monson said in the past...one time he or Hinckley quoted that they would help with disasters for as long as they can. They didn't say they'd be able to do so infinitely. Eventually peace will be taken from the land as the times of tribulation begin spoken of in the scriptures.
And its possible some people dreaming about tent cities were really dreaming about helping refugees not necessarily them being the refugees? Who knows...I don't know everything.
But there's a clear line between why some stories in the scriptures its good to be involved and be good. There's others where it's too late. Nephi had reached a point where things were too hot to handle for him to live with Laman and Lemuel anymore. Right now as a country I would point out a couple things.
The scriptures say in the Last Days the world will reel to and fro like a drunken man.
Now where also in the scriptures does it say that?
When Nephi was on the boat that he built...(L&L were only assistants that couldn't be trusted) Laman and Lemuel during the voyage decided that they would take over the ship. At that point the Liahona stopped working. Why did it stop working? When it had reached a point where only bad people get to have a future and good people are being pushed out.
Guess what, good people have been being pushed out for years.
So the Liahona stopped working --> similar to... the Earth will reel to and fro like a drunken man.
So if you get a chance try to be ready. But the real way to be ready is to stand in holy places.

I agree, but there may come a time that we may be pushed into sending them to hell where they belong. My freedom, liberty, Constitutional privileges and God-given inalienable rights are not for sale.

If we are to liken the BOM unto ourselves then we must be ready to fight for freedom. Alma didn't turn his back to trouble. In fact, he rallied many people to become freemen and went out and took care of business. We've had prophets tell us to stand up for freedom, even if it takes blood, for once freedom is lost it will take blood to bring it back. God brought about the Constitution by men he raised up for that very purpose...by the shedding of blood. Are we under any less a responsibility?

I am concerned about the silence on the part of the First Presidency and the Q12 on the matter of protecting our liberty/freedoms. I seriously wonder if we are under less responsibility. From discussions with my bishop, stake president, and area seventy, I could justify getting out of the freedom battle. Obviously, they haven't influenced me, but neither do they show any concern for promoting maintaining/restoring our freedoms.

Maybe that which we gain from the BOM is all that matters since we are constantly told to read it. And it is about freedom. liberty and who provided them.
Today one prophet is strong on standing up for freedom, another seems to be complacent. Who do we pay heed to?
Was JS wrong? Was his prophesy misconstrued? Did he really say it?
Are we to become like a little boat made of soap that goes every which way, or a cruise liner without a rudder?
