The Jambu Fruit Dove (Ptilinopus jambu) favours fruits for its meals, lives in parts of Southeast Asia including Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, where it inhabits rainforests and mangroves. This shy bird spends much of its time roosting in the treetops—it benefits from the camouflage its green plumage provides. Both males and females have hues of green, but only males have a bright pink patch on the head.

Channel-billed Toucan (Ramphastos vitellinus) lives throughout parts of northern and central South America and is named for the groove, or channel, that runs down its bill. There are four subspecies of this bird that come in a variety of colours. Its bill can grow as much as 5.5 inches (13.9 centimeters) long, this species has one of the largest beak-to-body ratios out of any bird in the world!

Colourful bark of a rainbow eucalyptus .. Eucalyptus deglupta.

When strips of its bark peel off, they change in color: bark starts out in shades of green, then transitions into purple, red, and orange as time goes on. Continuous peeling helps the tree keep its trunk clear of other plants. This large evergreen tree grows up to about 60 meters (197 feet) tall and might be spotted in the Philippines, New Guinea, Indonesia, Hawaii, and Southern California.
