The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) must disclose details of studies on the toxicity and carcinogenic properties of glyphosate, EU judges ruled.
Judges annulled two decisions by EFSA that denied access to details of the studies into the substance, which campaigners say should be banned. The two cases were brought by Greens members of the European Parliament among others.
"The public interest in having access to the information relating to emissions into the environment is specifically to know not only what is, or foreseeably will be, released into the environment, but also to understand the way in which the environment could be affected by the emissions in question," the European Court of Justice's General Court said in a statement.
Glyphosate was developed by Bayer's Monsanto under the brand Roundup. It is now off-patent and marketed worldwide by dozens of other chemical groups including Dow Agrosciences and Germany's BASF.
Concerns about its safety were highlighted when a World Health Organization agency concluded in 2015 that it probably causes cancer.

NASA study on House plants for cleaner air

Image

Maintaining the air quality in your home may seem like an easy task. However, living in built-up city areas, using central heating and the ever-present dust means we don’t always realise it could be better and sometimes we need a little assistance in the matter.

NASA – The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, released a study available to read online regarding the relationship between certain houseplants and air quality. The ultimate goal of the investigation was to measure the effectiveness of these plants for filtration purposes, in the hopes they would improve the quality of life for future off-planet living.

Exercise blesses and trains not only your body but also your mind and intellect, and increases the desire to become more physically fit. As you exercise, you will become an energised person who feels strong, confident, alert, and secure.
Our emotional, physical, and spiritual sides are all linked together. If we observe our body from a spiritual perspective and understand we are a child of God and our body is “a temple, a gift from God,” we will take care of our body and keep it sacred… clean, nourished, and strong.

A Gold Coast stonecutter has died from silicosis the occupational lung disease.
Anthony White in November 2017 became the face of the silicosis fight after being diagnosed with the disease, which is caused by inhalation of crystalline silica dust.
Anthony was on the waiting list for a lung transplant.
Shane Parata, who was also diagnosed with silicosis days before Anthony's death, believed his brother just couldn't get enough air in his badly-scarred lungs.
The brothers had worked side by side for years before contracting the disease caused by breathing in tiny particles of silica dust.
They are found in engineered stone, made of about 90 per cent crystalline silica, a common substitute for marble benchtops
"We were always safe - always wore the safety gear but it wasn't enough. You'd make a cut and there would be dust everywhere," Mr Parata said.
"You couldn't get away from it."
Mr Parata has vowed to continue his brother's fight to ban the product from the Australian building industry as tradies around the country undergo testing.
Doctors have warned of the scale of the unfolding crisis, and there have been calls for a national approach to the issue.
A spokesman for federal Industrial Relations Minister Kelly O'Dwyer said
"It is crucial that governments at all levels work together to drive change in the industry and stop this deadly disease from affecting families across the country,"
Safe Work Australia has prioritised work to address the risks posed by dust exposure in the workplace, including in the engineered stone industry.

Keep the temperature in your property even.
Try not to let one room get much warmer or colder than the next.
In winter, have small heaters spread throughout your property rather than one large heater in the centre.
Never use un-flued gas heaters because they can release water vapour into the air.
Always use the exhaust when you're showering or cooking and open windows when possible. ( include this as a condition in your tenancy agreements).
Clean up mould as soon as you notice it.
Don't let it settle in and advise tenants to do the same ( include this as a condition in your tenancy agreements).
Wipe up condensation on walls or windows whenever you notice it (ask tenants to do the same)
Keep blinds and curtains open during the day (advise tenants to do the same)
Advise tenants to upload photos of any mould as soon as soon as they notice a problem and keep a record of any conversations you have over the phone.

"Ultrasound can cause harm to the baby. You can always find out the sex of the baby when it's born. Learning the baby's sex when it is born adds to the excitement of the moment.
Another fact many people don't realise is that the thing where they put oil on the woman's belly and rub what looks like a "microphone" over her belly so that you can "listen" to the baby's "heartbeat" is actually an ultrasound device, too, and it uses a much more powerful ultrasound than the one used to generate images.
"microphone," "listen," and "heartbeat" are in quotation marks because that is not in fact what they are. The device does not record the sound of the baby's heartbeat, and you are not listening to the baby's heartbeat. What the device actually does is measure the rate of the baby's heartbeat, and then a computer chip inside the device generates a synthetic heartbeat sound. So while you are gushing over hearing the sound of your baby's heart, what you are actually hearing is a synthetically generated sound produced by a computer chip, all the while your baby is getting bombarded with dangerous levels of ultrasound. It is all a scam. The only way to listen to your baby's heartbeat is with a stethoscope."

https://foodfacts.mercola.com/ghee.html ... =584341012

https://articles.mercola.com/sites/arti ... efits.aspx

If you buy ghee at a store, it's important to read how it's made, because if vegetable oil was used rather than dairy, called vanaspati ghee or vegetable ghee, it can contain between 14 percent to 40 percent trans fats.
As in so many areas, the word is not the thing; ghee made from vegetable fats is a completely different compared to ghee made from organic, grass-fed butter. The ingredients, tools and ghee-making process in your own kitchen are simple and straightforward, and will result in 8 to 9 ounces of creamy yellow ghee. You need:

• 16 ounces of organic, grass-fed and unsalted butter (preferably raw)
• A small, heavy saucepan
• A square of cheesecloth for straining it at the end
Homemade Ghee Preparation:

• In your saucepan, slowly melt the unsalted butter over low heat. When it begins boiling vigorously, reduce the heat to medium-low and begin skimming off the white foam that bubbles to the surface, tipping pan as needed.
• Continue simmering and skimming until only clear, honey-colored liquid is left in the pan. After it's cooled a bit, strain the impurities and residue from the ghee by pouring it through the cheesecloth as you pour it into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

SHOCK as Trump signs executive order that will end most regulations and oversight on genetically engineered food – NaturalNews.com

President Trump has signed an executive order that will eliminate nearly all regulations on GMOs and genetically engineered crops.

This is a huge win for Monsanto / Bayer, but a horrible defeat for ecology, clean food and consumer safety.

Frustration with Trump is increasing among health-conscious individuals as the President seems to be all-in for 5G telecomm, vaccines and now GMOs.

Ways to separate garlic cloves: shake garlic in a container, smash garlic cloves on a cutting board, soak in water or microwave, using a knife, or a pointed blade, stab the individual cloves from the head then pull out each clove quickly and easily from the bulb.

"Cannabis and cutting ALL carbohydrates and doing periodic fasting is supposed to halt cancer growth. The cancer cells feed on sugar (carbs). They cannot sustain themselves or multiply on ketones, which is the fuel the body runs on when you cut out all sources of carbohydrates.

Basically eat: seafood, meat, limited amount of above-ground vegetables, fats. Aim for zero carb. I know a couple of people who went into remission when they starved the cancerous growth. One with a brain tumor. Read about lots of people who has beat cancer with diet.

Not doing it strictly and right won't help. When it comes to staying in ketosis, it is literally like living with a gun to the head with cancer."

Interesting. Do we know exactly how fasting is related with cancer? Are there certain fasting trends that are found to be better than others (such as duration and frequency)?

Is there a link between cannabis and food intake/digestion? Only asking because periods of my life when I’ve taken it, my digestive system was always very grateful, which benefitted me in many ways especially sleep rhythms. The difference between me waking up groggy going into a bad day and waking up refreshed going into a good day all come back to digestion it seems to me.

One of the dangers of cleaning out attics, garages, barns and sheds comes from creatures that have nested there, including mice. Be aware of the dangers of hantavirus, a disease that is transferred to humans in mouse excrement inhaled with dust in the air. You could go into a storage space and pull down a box that has rodent urine or droppings on it. When you sweep off the droppings the air fills with dust that gets into your lungs, creating an opportunity for exposure.

Chemicals in Nail Polish Linked to Cancer, Autoimmunity, Obesity & Hormone Disruption

June 27, 2019

The popularity of mani-pedi culture endangers consumers, salon and spa workers, and manicurists alike via exposure to toxic chemicals with well-defined health conséquences

It’s no secret that our skin is our largest absorptive organ, and that what we apply topically penetrates its way into our systemic circulation, pervading our every tissue. Our skin is, after all, even at its thickest points, only a few millimeters in diameter. Although most are aware of the detriment posed by the chemicals in personal care products applied to the skin, which shimmy their way into our cells, tissues, and organs, fingernail polish is oftentimes overlooked, as the nails are perceived as sturdier structures less permeable to chemical agents. However, the capillary bed in the cuticle surrounding the nail, in tandem with solvents that render the nails more absorbent, may lead to increased absorption of the cocktail of chemicals in nail polish which elicit tangible effects upon our physiology.

Beware parasites: A Perth couple had their health and happiness ripped from them by a debilitating parasite, that buried itself deep inside their intestines. During a trip to Phuket Thailand, Stacey and Ryan decided to drop into an up-market shopping centre and grab a bite to eat.“They had this pristine food court, it looked just like a brand new one in Australia would, it wasn’t a dingy place at all,” Stacey said. They ordered pad thai — a popular Thai stir-fried noodle dish — for about $6 a plate and devoured it. It was so good, we actually ordered another one,” she recalled. Back at the hotel that night, they suddenly started feeling extremely ill. “Ryan and I both came down with fevers,” Stacey said.“It was really cold in the hotel room and I was sweating and had the shakes, it was just terrible.” What they didn’t know then, was the tiny parasite — known as Dientamoeba fragilis — had buried itself in their intestines, and would soon destroy their health. They paid for the next flight out of the country and returned home, gravely ill. When the couple returned to Perth, their symptoms dramatically escalated.“Some days, I would suddenly become extremely bloated after eating something small, my stomach would just be enormous. We developed cold sores all over our face and ulcers all through our mouths.”The parasite — now securely lodged in their digestive tracts — left the pair suffering either severe constipation or extreme diarrhoea. Stacey also experienced major brain fog, describing months where she couldn’t remember a single thing, walking through life “like a zombie, I had no memory, I was really foggy and couldn’t retain any information, it was as if I was in a permanent fog, We were also so rundown that we got progressively worse over time and picked up every illness that was going around,” she said. “It got the point where I was so tired that I didn’t want to get out of bed,I was moving around, knowing that this thing was living inside of me, depleting me of energy and my life force.” Stacey 32, and her husband Ryan 39, have spent the past two years fighting off a bug they picked up in the Thai food court. This parasite wreaked havoc on their bodies, leaving them feeling “like zombies”, unable to get out of bed. Stacey and Ryan finally found a doctor who specialised in intestinal parasites and this was when they finally found answers. They were diagnosed with Dientamoeba fragilis and prescribed strong courses of antibiotics, blood transfusions, vitamin supplements and probiotics.

Toilet bowls contain infectious bacteria, put the toilet seat down before flushing to help contain the phenomenon known as “toilet plume.” As you flush the toilet, your waste products are aerosolised by the swirling water, sending aerosolised droplets as much as 6 feet from the toilet. Tie plumes can reach as high as 15 feet and stay in the air for extended periods and settle on surfaces contributing to the transmission of infectious diseases spreading around the room and to items such as your toothbrush. Store bathroom items in a cabinet, and exit public toilets quickly at the time you flush.

NO LICKING: Marie Trainer returned from a Caribbean vacation with her husband, their two dogs excitedly greeted them with lots of licks.
But the affectionate welcome home smooches on May 10 have left this Ohio woman a paraplegic.
The next night, Marie was exhibiting flu-like symptoms, feeling nauseous and achy, with her temperature rising and then plummeting to 34C.
In critical care at Aultman Hospital, doctors quickly realised Marie had sepsis, an immune response to infection, and her condition was deteriorating. These germs live in the mouths of canines and cats, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
“It’s fairly common in the aural flora in the mouth of a dog,” infectious disease expert Dr Margaret Kobe told Fox. “It can be transmitted through a bite or sometimes just contact with saliva.” She was put into a medically induced coma, with large blood clots forming and restricting her blood flow, causing necrosis and gangrene and forcing doctors to amputate her hands and legs.
“If we did not proceed with the amputations, it was going to lead to her death and quickly,It was so rapid in progression. There was nothing they could do.”
Marie was in a coma for 10 days, had a total of eight surgeries and spent 80 days in the hospital — but she lived.
“It was very hard to find out when they first told me, and that they had to remove my legs and my arms,” says Marie

Countless eco-conscious consumers have switched to Sigg aluminum bottles because of bisphenol-A, or BPA, a substance commonly used to harden plastic that has raised health concerns. But bottles made by Sigg Switzerland before August 2008 had "trace amounts" of BPA in the epoxy liners.
Concerns about BPA stem from the fact that it can mimic estrogen, a powerful hormone.Bisphenol-A, or BPA is an estrogen-mimicking chemical used to make hard plastics and epoxy resins, found in numerous products including:

• Polycarbonate plastic baby bottles

• Large water-cooler containers and sports bottles

• Bottle tops

• Microwave-oven dishes

• Canned-food liners

• Some dental sealants for children

• Water supply pipes

The use of BPA is so pervasive -- industry uses more than 6 billion pounds of BPA a year -- that scientists have found that 95 percent of people tested have dangerous levels of BPA in their bodies. The cumulative effect of being exposed to BPA from cans, bottles, plates and all other sources over the years can eventually spell serious trouble for your health. children, may be exposed to the chemical while in utero, and quite literally “fed” the chemical via plastic baby bottles and toys (which they often put in their mouths). BPA mimics the female hormone estrogen and miniscule amounts can induce profound changes.
In animals, BPA increases aneuploidy, a defect consisting of abnormal loss or gain of chromosomes, which in humans could possibly lead to miscarriages or disorders such as Down Syndrome.

even low doses of BPA can cause:

• Hyperactivity

• Early puberty

• Increased fat formation

• Abnormal sexual behavior

• Disrupted reproductive cycles

• Structural damage to the brain

Monday 9pm, 23 September 2019 East Coast Australia time.

I have decided to fast, water only, from now for 40 days and 40 nights.
My longest past fast has been 33 days and 33 nights. Stopped 7 days short of my goal as my skin was dry. Hopefully this time I will make it to 40. 🍀🙂
