I thought it interesting that Parture would wonder how any Latter-Day-Saint could remain with the Church with so much "evidence" showing that Joseph was making stuff up. But at least how I see it, there is overwhelming evidence pointing to the authenticity of Joseph's testimony and the divine origins of the Book of Mormon. Daniel C. Peterson does a good job summing up some of this evidence.

Re: Evidence in support of the Restoration
A great video, I agree plenty of evidence that makes a lot of sense. We also focus a lot on vs. 3-5 of chapter 10 in Moroni to point to the the truth of the book of Mormon but I like vs 5-7:

There can also be "power in the priesthood" as overwhelming evidence of the truth of this work. Accessing this power both as a recipient and a instrument takes faith, worthiness, humility and all of the attributes we know so well in Section 121 of the D&C. Section 121 is like a good diet, we know it will be good for us but there is a gap between knowing and doing. A gap between real intent. Again a great talk that outlines these principles so well:

I am grateful for the whispering of the spirit and the still small voice but there is also POWER as we spiritually stretch beyond anything we have ever done before. This talk and its principles go hand in hand with these vs above:Moroni 10:5: by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever.

Evidence is nothing compared to a testimony from studying the Book of Mormon. I don't care what they say about Joseph Smith. He gave us the book and the book needs no defense.

There is a mountain of evidence with the Book of Mormon being a cornerstone. I love church history!!!The Airbender wrote: ↑May 6th, 2018, 5:23 pm Evidence is nothing compared to a testimony from studying the Book of Mormon. I don't care what they say about Joseph Smith. Awesome! That's the right attitude! Both of you have good points. Yes we need the spirit but it's exciting to see breadcrumbs after faith.kirtland r.m. wrote: ↑May 6th, 2018, 9:51 pmThere is a mountain of evidence with the Book of Mormon being a cornerstone.
