For what it's worth, I was told by someone close to the recorder that it occurred before the temple was dedicated, and if my memory is correct she approached President Hardy during the Open House. President Hardy then had the recorder write down what she had to say. I don't know that it happened inside the temple or somewhere else, but I am fairly confident I was told that it happened before the temple had been dedicated.AI2.0 wrote: ↑January 6th, 2018, 10:51 am Also, I agree that the claim that she shared her experience with the Kansas Temple Pres. and he had it recorded in the Temple manifesations log is false--not that tbone made it up, but that this incident did not happen as described--why would a temple pres. put her claims in a temple book? It didn't happen in the temple, it wasn't completed till 2012 and she claims to have had her experience a decade before. If there's even a shred of truth to it, it's very different from the rumors--Julie spreads these kinds of stories that make her look like her visions and teachings are accepted and even shared by church leaders--she's made these kinds of claims on her podcasts. It gives her validity and she knows it, it helps those who are wary of her message and feel it is 'off', to ignore the warnings they are feeling as they hear her claims.
I'm just sharing what I was told. I agree that it sounds strange, but I trust the person who told me. I don't think it adds any credibility to her (especially in light of Elder Ballard's talk and her own behavior), but rather shows some added complexity to the Julie Rowe story.
For a while I really, really wanted to know what had been recorded, but at this point I don't really care. I don't feel harmed by anything Julie Rowe has said or done, but now I'd rather stay away from it.
