Take your pick.

This is great. So many "breakthrough firsts" 🙂 Thanks to their billionaire daddy paying for tickets, they will truly push the envelope in terms of space research and human advancements (and equality).

I suppose rich kids also count as a disadvantaged minority.

Cameron Bess, one of the passengers on board Blue Origin’s latest flight, is making history in a number of ways.

They are the first out pansexual person to go to space, and the first to go alongside a parent. But perhaps the most notable first is one that Bess seems keen to stress: they will be the first furry in space....

Cameron Bess looks set to change that. When they make use of their ticket on board Jeff Bezos’s private space flight – apparently bought by their father, Lane Bess, one of three businesspeople who paid for the expensive tickets on the trip
Image
“Cameron is a content creator with a passion for creating and expressing themselves in ways that can brighten a person’s day,” a profile on the Blue Origin website reads. “After studying Computer Science and Game Design at DigiPen Institute for Technology in Washington, they’ve developed an engaged community across multiple platforms, producing original content and developing proprietary software to support their audience.

“Cameron identifies as pansexual and is proud to represent marginalized communities and hopes their journey can inspire others.”

I like him better in his furry persona.

Just as predicted.

Pleasure Island is closing.

And the patrons are indeed turning into Animals.

Just keeps getting better and better.

Heroin is a horrible idea (I've known a few people who got involved in it), but part of the point here is to avoid needle sharing and spreading disease amongst each other. Having a heroin addiction and then contracting Hepatitis or HIV etc is an added complication.

Junkies are a pain when they're junkies, but some of them start off as good folk or end up becoming good folk. We've brothers in this stake who've been on it, and helped others in addiction recovery.

There has to be a rethink on drug policy in many western countries. Simply banning something doesn't work. Nor does taking down low level dealers without dealing with people higher up the food chain.

The problem with the Superbowl being in AZ is we won't know the true outcome of the game and the resulting score for at least two months

Well now everyone's going to click to see those purple singlets I don't think any man wore IRL to do aerobics even in the 80s.

This morning I came in to work to find stacks of paperwork that needed to be filed before our workload became unmanageable. I contemplated pushing it aside another day, perhaps coming in over the weekend and working a few hours.

I stopped and prayed, "Please help me organize my day so that I can get this work completed...."

Less than 5 minutes later our internet and phones went down for the entire building. I then had three people with free time to help me file.

2 hours later we finished up... As we contemplated loading up work to take home, the phones and internet came back up.

I promised the owner of the company that I did pray for help, but I did not ask for the internet to go down... :o

He thought it was hilarious and shared a personal story about "Asking the Lord for help when we need it rather than begging him to fix things."
