Humor - what's so funny?

Just looked up what this was about. He's gone up in my estimation.

I'd much rather these "celebrities" share a message saying not to trust government and big pharma, than the more politically divisive left-right messages they often give.

I agree. He's pointed out unsavoury aspects of the whole thing.

We can each do our part. I do a little. Every time I go into a public toilet and there is a Covid notice up there, I take it down and put it where it can't be found. They are rarely up now and are past that now.

Okay, this is the first time I've heard them compared to toilet paper rolls. I've never seen one decorated like the one in that photo.

They were awesome! Push up a little bit, eat the ice cream, push up more. I miss them.

They weren't toilet paper rolls. They were push-ups. The bottom consisted of a plastic disk and a plastic stick. You pushed up the ice cream inside as you ate it. Really good idea, actually. Less messy for little kids than an ice cream cone.

I wasn't trying to be funny I was commenting on the way the tube is built like a lipstick - since Silver Pie was explaining how it works above. And maybe pointing out what a visionary kid I was.

Reminds me of when I used to joke, "When I was a little boy . . . " because I was a tomboy, and I wanted to be a boy until I was around 13, which is when I grew up enough to know it wasn't going to happen.

But, today? I never make that joke.

When I was growing up, I never got "offended" at she/her pronouns. In fact, I would have thought someone stupid if they had called me he/him.

I thank God often that I was raised in the late 50s and the 60s when people knew what a tomboy really was. The nightmare my life would have been if someone had decided to give me hormone blockers or cut off parts of my anatomy . . . .
If it was possible, and they had tried behind my mom's back, I would have dug my heels in and refused. One thing I was as a kid, and that was loyal to my mother.
