Isn't that why old conservative white guys carry guns? Looking at most of them, they couldn't fight off a young guy whether he’s dressed in black or a speedo. Just sayin’ the typical conservative thinks they are tough but is that because they carry a weapon?

If we all obeyed Christ and got a sword/gun then it comes down to skill and accuracy thus physical strength doesnt matter as much. But what happens when you find yourself in a brawl without your “gun”? Who will win? The young guy most likely.

Im not against guns just don’t think the attitude of “tough” guy will save you in a fist fight if you find yourself in a confrontation with a young guy pumped up with testosterone and acting crazy. I do not see conservatives as any more physically able as their counterpart. Wise to not confuse stupidity and naiveness with an inability to fight, the ones to be weary of the most are dumb men with wild ideas- they just might lack the civility of a fair fight.

The sky is blue. Water is wet. 2 + 2 = 4.

Tell me something that everybody doesn't already know.

You know, the issue of right and left and weak and strong may come down to this, a concept known as "locus of control." Men, and women, who feel like they are in charge of their destiny (internal focus) are way more likely to exercise and keep in shape. If they gain a couple of pounds over the holidays they just up their routine a couple of weeks. These people are far less likely to conform in any situation or social pressure. These people tend to be more conservative. Those who have an external locus of control feel like they are victims of circumstance or society. So they are more likely to blame their problems on something besides themselves. This makes them vulnerable to liberal thought.

As you well know some men in the church are adamant that they are naturally the leaders of their wives and children. I, as a man, find this repugnant and completely foreign. I am glad that the church is changing its views and have even finally updated the temple ceremony. To think that some go as far as to take issue with wives driving is just simply weak. And all the protesting I have seen hear merely furthers that point.

Its their God given right to lead their family, especially if they're the bread winners. Why is that foreign to you? People who make certain sacrfices are entitled certain rights and privileges...why is that repugnant? That Temple Ceremony change is not of God, I know that. It's travesty actually.

You are not a man. Please stop hiding behind anonymous message boards. You are obviously a woman.

If my wife wants to drive, she can. If she wants me to drive (which is about 100 times more likely) I'm happy to.

About 99 times out of a hundred, if we are both in the car, she wants me to drive. Next time she wants to, I'll be sure to check if I still have my testes. Wow, some people's notions of what gives them manhood.

Yes, the glorious changes praised by spirtual Christlike giants like Oprah Whinfrey and Ellen DeGeneres. Brought to you by focus groups and feminism.

I wouldn't know about them, I have heard of them but have never watched or studied them. Your well known views of the temple are quite telling. I frankly will choose the Lord's side.
