Thank you for this opportunity to learn and share. I live in Gridley, CA and really need to hear from fellow Saints as much as possible. This is one more avenue.

Hello hacky and welcome to the forum. We lived in Nevada City and Georgetown...near Grass Valley, not too far from you (to the East). We Love that area and make it back every year for a visit.

I hear you on the need to hear from and discuss matters with fellow LDS's. Thank you for joining and I look forward to sharing with and learning from you too!

Welcome hacky - I'm probably the furthest from you geographically of those of us in the USA as I'm in Florida - just a stone's throw from Kennedy Space Center. I love how the internet can connect us saints (if I may be so bold to declare myself as one!)

Gridley brings back some memories for me. I also lived nearby in N California. I saw some of the largest Monster Crawfish (or crawdads) we found on the Salmon bait pulled out of the Feather River. I was in N Cali When the Levi broke and flooded Marysville area around 88? Anyway I often wonder what happened to many of old friends and aquaintances from that area. I always hoped I would get an opportunity to take my children to the Redwoods and a few other areas around there.
