Let me post a part of a Nyquist column titled Russian Motives that explain it nicely. I am thankful that at least a few people are awake to what is really going on here in the Assyrian combination. Pity that they are ignored or scoffed at. Do not be distracted or misled as so many well meaning people have become. The communists are playing chess. We in the West are about to be check-mated.

For those who do not understand KGB methods, a brief description may suffice. Tennent H. Bagley, former CIA chief of Soviet bloc counterintelligence recently wrote: "[From its inception, the KGB] created fictional movements ostensibly militant and treasonous, that would attract potential regime opponents and put them under an all-seeing eye and controlling hand." The KGB has always created its own opposition, luring enemies into groups led by its own agents. The methods of the KGB, employed from the 1920s onward, were not suspended when it came to the Muslim world. The plan for dealing with Islam was true to form: Invade Afghanistan and cause anti-Soviet groups to form; then kill the leaders of those groups to make way for KGB agents planted deep within them. As Bagley noted, "Unlike their Tsarist predecessors the Chekists [KGB] were not content merely to penetrate and manipulate opposition groups. They made a leap forward and created false ones of their own."

According to a secret KGB history cited by Bagley: "set up false organizations and, using them as bait, begin operational games with enemy intelligence agents and foreign anti-Soviet centers." In Afghanistan the Soviets elevated future mujahideen commanders like Gen. Rashid Dostum and promoted the legend of Gen. Ahmad Shah Massoud. Meanwhile, Mohammed bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahri nested indiscreetly inside the Taliban. Throughout the period of Soviet occupation, through the bloody battles of attrition organized by Najibullah's Communist regime, independent rebel groups were decimated while KGB-controlled groups were allowed to grow and advance under a false Muslim banner. Islam always posed a threat to the Soviet Union. What better strategy than to infiltrate and hijack the Islamic cause in order to direct it away from Russia, to attack the United States and Western Europe? And this is exactly what happened. Twenty years after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan we find NATO troops battling Islamic tribesmen instead of Russian troops. We find the World Trade Center reduced to rubble instead of the Kremlin. At the same time we find Grozny, a Muslim city in European Russia, bombarded into moonscape.

From allegations that bin Laden acquired Soviet nuclear warheads through Chechnya, to FBI fears of an imminent WMD attack on the United States, the various pieces of this larger puzzle depend on a campaign designed to control our perceptions, to guide our thoughts by eliminating witnesses who've acquired special insights or inside information. The strategists in Moscow don't want their machinations exposed to the light of day. The KGB/SVR/FSB is engaged in a program of mass deception across the board. This program involves the deception of academics, politicians, intelligence officials and military leaders. It is not a small operation. It is ambitious, large-scale, long-term and long-range. At the core of this strategy we find an unceasing attack on the West's faculty of understanding. We are bombarded with thousands of small lies, each one capable of shifting our conclusions off the vital ground of truth. We have been told, and continue to be assured, day after day, that America’s Cold War enemy has disappeared. But the entire process, beginning with Gorbachev and continuing through Yeltsin and Putin, was guided by a secret center, serviced by clandestine structures.
During the final phase of the Russian long-range strategy, it is ignorance and confusion that rules Washington. There is no coherent strategy, no plan for final victory. There is no clear idea of who the enemy is, or what the enemy's actual strength might be. It is ironic that today's reigning ignorance should imagine that the United States is the aggressor, and George W. Bush is

Adolf Hitler. If we had eyes to see, we would be forced to acknowledge a continuous string of Communist victories since August 1991. We would be forced to admit that Communist terrorists have triumphed in mineral rich Angola, Congo, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe (among others). We would be forced to admit that oil-rich Venezuela has joined the new Communist Bloc. Where is the supposed victory of democracy and capitalism in countries like Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Brazil? Have the Marxist guerrillas in Colombia been defeated? America's strategists are clearly incompetent to have lost so many vital, resource-rich areas to the Communists. In fact, one might say that the CIA no longer opposes Communism because the Communist threat no longer enjoys an official existence.

The fool who reckons the U.S. has deceived the Russians, that NATO's advance to the borders of Russia is a proof of American wickedness, fails to see that Moscow's double agents in Eastern Europe (disguised as pro-Western democrats) sought membership in NATO on Kremlin orders; knowing full well that the KGB's secret structures in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary would thereby gain access to NATO's secrets and a veto power over NATO actions. Despite the weakness of the Atlantic alliance, despite its bloated enfeeblement, the Kremlin has used the occasion to cry "foul" and warn darkly of NATO's aggressive intentions - of Washington's secret plan to destroy Russia utterly. They point to NATO's misguided bombing campaign against Serbia. (Not an aggrandizement of NATO, but an ill-advised humanitarian interference provoked by very real atrocities.)
The West does not hate Russia, but seeks to make Russia into a constructive partner. In London, in Washington, there is no agenda to destroy Russia. The Democrats would never endorse such a program and the Republicans are too busy supporting business interests eager to extend aid and trade. There is no party, cabal or group in America that actively seeks the dismemberment of Russia. The CIA itself - made impotent by the treason of Aldrich Ames in the 1990s - had nothing to do with the fall of the Soviet Union, which was effected by Kremlin policies outlined by Gorbachev and Shevardnadze at the Malta summit in 1989.

The public, however, is easily misled. Thousands of lies, dozens of conspiracy theories, linked with an envious rhetoric transforms public opinion as it divides and conquers. Under the present information regime, lies and distortions continuously overwhelm the truth. Those few witnesses to the truth, competing for attention against the entertainment media and the inanities of television news, face the additional hurtle of surviving the KGB's assassins.

I do agree with Nyquist on the KGB infiltration and I do agree that the Assyrian combination has infiltrated this country and are working fevorishly to weaken us in many ways. I think you are wrong about Nyquist. I admit that He does concentrate on external threats coming out of Russia and China but he also understands some of the dangers of our internal moles as far as i can tell. He is just not willing to start down the road of accusing certain individuals in govt. like Bush for example and creating conspiracy theories that are far from proven. He is into emperical proof and does not like to throw out circular theories. He is very aware that we have plants that have infiltrated the US intelligence agencies going clear back to the Alger Hiss days during Jospeh McCarthy's Committee on Un-American activities and Venona. He is trying to keep us focused on what the communists are doing to mislead the West into putting down their guard against communist agression. He thinks that the West has fallen into the trap laid for them from these communist planners and are acting like drunkards of Ephraim that i have alluded to here many times. The other side of the coin is that the American public, aware of this, frequently feels that both in our diplomacy and in our intelligence undertakings we are not match for the ‘wily foreigner.’ Foreigners likewise attribute to Americans a certain gullibility and naïveté.”

It should come as no surprise that the history of the CIA during the Cold War has been inverted, distorted and mythologized. In the official, accepted CIA history the dupes have become heroes, false defectors have become true defectors, Soviet experts have become “paranoids” and their bureaucratic opponents are remembered as saviors. This falsification of history has even been popularized in books like David C. Martin’s Wilderness of Mirrors, Tom Mangold’s Cold Warrior, and David Wise’s Molehunt: The Secret Search for Traitors That Shattered the CIA. Now, at long last, a principal character in CIA history has written a firsthand account that explodes the popular falsifications of Martin, Mangold and Wise. The former CIA chief of Soviet bloc counterintelligence, Tennent H. Bagley, has written a book titled Spy Wars: Moles, Mysteries and Deadly Games.

Bagley writes with straightforward elegance. He describes the CIA’s fall. It began in the 1960s, when the investigation of a KGB defector named Yuri Nosenko went awry. To satisfy nervous bureaucrats who wanted to close the investigation, non-experts were tasked with rehabilitating Nosenko, even though he had thoroughly discredited himself. Nosenko was not what he claimed to be. To believe Nosenko’s authenticity, noted Bagley, the CIA would have to accept that the “KGB actually operated under procedures different than those reported by all earlier (and subsequent) defectors, [they would also have to believe] what Nosenko told … about his life was the final truth – even though it was a fourth or fifth version….”

Bagley laments that the truth about Nosenko has been buried “under layers of lies so often repeated that they have become conventional wisdom.” Falsehood itself has become myth, and as historian Paul Veyne once noted in an essay on mythology, “Daily life itself, far from being rooted in immediacy, is the crossroads of the imagination…. Empiricism and experimentation are negligible quantities.” In large and powerful organizations, where the intricacies of truth are exposed to the bullying impulses of raw bureaucratic power, comprehension becomes a retrospective illusion. Existence is mediated by successive “dream palaces” all of which pass for truth. According to Veyne, “When one does not see what one does not see, one does not even see that one is blind.” This sentence describes the CIA as it swallowed Nosenko’s baited hook. It was a clever piece of strategy to tell the bureaucrats what they wanted to hear. The rest of humanity must bear with unpleasant truths, but a bureaucrat is a special animal. He can ignore expert opinion, consigning fact to the dustbin while elevating fiction to the status of truth. After this fashion he reaps the reward for a job well done, and avoids being blamed for problems. The CIA’s bosses wanted good news from defectors, not bad news. Nosenko was saying, in so many words, that there weren’t any Soviet moles near the top of U.S. intelligence. He alleged that the KGB had failed to recruit certain targets. His information downplayed leads that were given by an earlier defector named Anatoliy Golitsyn.

According to Bagley’s account, “The American intelligence community had so unequivocally supported falsehood – and lost so much by doing so – that if any CIA people still remembered, they would probably prefer to let this sleeping dog lie.” The CIA itself was converted into an enemy stronghold. For those who do not understand how the game is played, a brief explanation should suffice. The KGB’s method consists in manipulating foreign intelligence services by using false defectors, double agents and moles in aggressive operational games. Once a false defector is accepted as genuine, the KGB’s dominant position within the target organization is demonstrated. The security of its moles is assured. The false information fed by double agents is corroborated and the poison fully digested. The entire establishment finds itself warmed and comforted under a blanket of lies.

Some readers may imagine that all of this is irrelevant. It is old news, belonging to the distant past. The Cold War is over. But that’s not what we see today, with the hammer and sickle reappearing on the Russian flag, with Latin America and Africa turning to Marxism, with Europe drifting into neutrality, with America being vilified around the world, with Russia and China forming a new military alliance. Something very bad is developing out of America’s false hopes and the CIA’s falsified history. America was warned of these events far in advance. The warning came from Anatoliy Golitsyn, a former Major in the KGB. Although Bagley does not mention Golitsyn’s warnings to the West, the Nosenko legend has been used to discredit Golitsyn and his late sponsor within the CIA, James Angleton. In terms of Russian grand strategy, the Nosenko legend has been used to claim that Golitsyn was mentally ill, that his predictions and analyses are paranoid and valueless. Setting Golitsyn aside, Bagley’s intuition prompts him to wonder if Nosenko’s lies might open the way to “a continuum of treason that might still be active today.”

The KGB is alive and well. Its methods include terror, murder and subversion. Its goal is the old goal; and I believe this is the context for Bagley’s “continuum of treason.” After the collapse of Communism, as reported by Bagley, a German editor complained to KGB Col. Oleg Nechiporenko about the manuscript of a former KGB mole who spent twenty years inside Radio Liberty, saying that the mole’s account lacked sufficient detail. Nechiporenko chided the editor for being naïve. According to Nechiporenko the mole’s operation “was part of a link, a part of an operation…. And this operation isn’t completed.” Furthermore, any full accounting might tell the CIA “what the KGB was doing today and tomorrow. The KGB is not dead.”

What does it mean to say that the sword and shield of the Communist Party Soviet Union is “not dead”? This statement signifies much more than an ongoing “continuum of treason.” It signifies a future destructive sequence that America is not prepared to counter. Here we stumble upon an incomplete operation. It is a work in progress. In fact, the Soviet Union itself continues to exist in disguised form. The satellite countries also continue, in shabby democratic drag. The entire strategy of the United States rests on a false foundation.

After his rehabilitation by CIA headquarters, Yuri Nosenko was moved to Washington where he became a consultant to FBI and CIA counterintelligence. “Eventually,” reported Bagley, “he began lecturing regularly at counterintelligence schools of the CIA, FBI, Air Force, and other agencies and from the mid-1970s often entered the CIA headquarters building in Langley, Virginia.” All the while, noted Bagley, “The twisted and shaky edifice” exonerating Nosenko “would not stand up even to the gentlest breeze of skepticism, much less to professional or even scholarly appraisal.”

Every American should read Bagley’s book.

But I do think that many in the Bush Admin, Clinton Admin and so on and within our government are rotten and not all the accusations towards the Bush administration are circular conspiracy. I believe, for example, that the Bush Admin Hiring of former Soviet KGB Chiefs (Generals) Yvgeny Primakov and Alexander Karpov to assist Homeland Security and DARPA in the design of an internal passport for Americans is unconstitutional and down-right frightening.
And the ties between the Bushes and Putin, despite his criminal rise to power, his KGB past and such systematic dismantling of democracy by Putin, he and George Bush are "best friends". After meeting in 2001, Bush declared that he had peered into his soul and liked what he saw there. The friendship continued as Putin urged US voters to re-instate Bush in 2004. The reason Putin, a man who finds rape admirable, likes Bush so much is that he can get away with whatever he wants without worry of recrimination. As prominent Russian experts have stated, there is an agreement between the two whereby in return for Russian acquiescence in the war on terror agenda in the middle east, the Bush administration has ignored Putin's undemocratic, freedom restricting takeover of the country and the EU. I believe there are many 'agreements' betwenn these SC's / GR's.

See this is where you start going into assumptions and no real empirical evidence. Bohemiam grove for example. What kind of empirical evidence do you have that Bush is worshipping owls and involved in homosexual activity. This is purely rumor and innuendo. Linking Bush to Putin is also pure specultion. There is plenty of evidence that suggests that Bush is a drunken Ephraimite idiot who has been played like a fiddle by Putin. There is no real evidence that Bush and Putin are in cahoots to bring America to its knees. It is all speculation and theory. Bush's grandfathers links to Nazi's. Again speculation by somehow connecting him to his grandfathers activities. My grandfather smoked and was a hard core democrat. Does that implicate me? I don't want people to disregard hard evidence of real conspiracy because I start throwing out all kinds of rumor and speculative theories that have no hard evidence to back them up. It was weird that they were chanting about basically a male and a female devil, until I found out the belief that there were leviathans, one male and one female, and that the female was killed because if they were allowed to produce that the world would be destroyed. They also connect the female to Lilith. Which is symbolized by an owl too. Not that I think this is 100% truth, but the myth seems to have connections to the false priesthood and so on etc etc.

MONTE RIO -- The Bohemian Club's Annual Summer Encampment came to a close here Sunday, ending a two-week retreat for the rich and powerful that President Herbert Hoover once called "the greatest men's party on Earth."

The club's famed annual gathering has been held for more than 100 years at the 2,700-acre Bohemian Grove in Monte Rio, about 70 miles north of San Francisco in Sonoma County. This year's event drew in notables such as former President George Bush, Texas Gov. George W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, retired Gen. Colin Powell, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Dow Chemical Chairman Frank Popoff, as well as actor Danny Glover.

The men gather to celebrate what they call "the spirit of Bohemia," said Peter Phillips, a Sonoma State University sociology professor who wrote his doctoral dissertation on the Bohemian Club.

"This is a place men can go and hang out with people who are similar to them," he said.

The annual gathering near the Russian River, which was first held in 1879, starts with the "Cremation of Care" ritual, in which the club's mascot is burned in effigy, symbolizing a freedom from care. Members also perform several plays, and gourmet food and expensive wine are plentiful.

While the club was formed in 1872 by a group of San Francisco journalists, the male-only club now bars journalists from membership to protect the group's privacy. Membership is coveted, and people routinely wait 10 or 15 years before gaining admittance. There are currently about 2,700 members.

The club has drawn criticism for years because of its emphasis on privacy. What particularly concerns Phillips and others are the "Lakeside Talks" held during the summer retreat. This year, Powell was expected to deliver a talk titled "America's Promise Leading Armies and Leading Kids," and Popoff, of Dow Chemical, was to give a speech called "Environmental Journey."

"These are often public policy speeches," said Mary Moore, with Bohemian Grove Action Network, a protest group. "And the American public is not privy to it."

No one from the club returned several calls from The Bee.

Bohemian Grove Action Network has periodically held demonstrations at the grove, although none were held this year.

The point of the protests, Moore said, has been "to let the American public know that what they've learned in civics isn't the full story on how decision-making . . . is made in this country." The Bohemian Club, she said, "is one of the most elite organizations on the planet."

When the group sponsors public policy talks that are held without public scrutiny, "the average American feels left out of the process," she said.

Phillips echoes Moore's objections to the off-the-record nature of the Lakeside Talks.

"These are extremely powerful people and private discussions on policy issues that affect us certainly go against democratic principles," he said. "There's no reason that those speeches they're giving couldn't be transcribed and made public. They have a responsibility to be open about it."

I do not by any stretch deny that Satanic cult like activities are going on all around us. I just think that we need to be very careful as to who we accuse of being a part of that type of activity. We may be bearing false witness against our brother if that accusation turns out to lack credibility. The evil and conspiring men in the last days want to marginalize anyone who may be on their trail. Do not make it easy for them to do so by irresponsible accusations and rumors with no real hard evidence to back it up.

See here is another example of what i am talking about truth. I have an ASU Sun Devil baseball cap with a devil on it. Does that mean I am a devil worshipper? I just read about the above in "Awakening to Our Aweful Situation" by Jack Monett. If you have't read that book I highly recommend it. Interesting stuff.

Cap, I'm quite certain you totally misunderstood Spence. I took his comment to mean that we have a prophet right now named Thomas S. Monson. He didn't excuse the words of earlier prophets but emphasized we have a current prophet right now.
