Know your Wahhabi.
Here it is:

These are the people that the USA has tied its economic future to. Ever wonder how Christians and Jews survived in the Middle East, even as second-class citizens, until recent years? Well, here is the answer to why they have done so badly since the 1970s.
Saddam, while a Sunni, hated this philosophy, and the USA killed him. Gadaffi, a Sunni of Jewish descent, hated this philosophy, and the USA killed him. Assad, hates this philosophy, and the USA is out to get him.
Make sense now?

Re: Know your Wahhabi.
I misread the title and thought this was about wasabi sauce...I like siracha better.
We should become more isolationistic, stop policing the world, stop blowing up people who weren't bothering us, manufacturing everything and borrowing money from China, etc., but we keep on...

And yet most people have no clue about this ideology or how billions in oil money impact the financial sector of the western world.Dash jones wrote:Interesting article and the version of history it presents. Interesting read.

Just FYI, you have probably never had real wasabi.Rachael wrote:I misread the title and thought this was about wasabi sauce...I like siracha better.

I love me some sushi, and served a mission in Japan, but most "wasabi" is simply horseradish with green food coloring.
Real wasabi costs something like $100 a pound...

Oh, man - I tried Sriracha twice now, and the third time it'll be at gunpoint, but only after they shoot me and pour it in my dead mouth. Honestly, why do people use a condiment that tastes like it's made with bat guano and aged in the intestines of rat corpses staked out in the Arizona desert?Rachael wrote:I misread the title and thought this was about wasabi sauce...I like siracha better....

Lol... Maybe I never had "real" siracha either
Just the kind that on the tables at Chinese buffets. (With chicken on the bottles) to me, it tasted kinda like Tabasco sauce/ Louisiana hot sauce
