Figures from the Department of Homeland Security show that the president has already issued 680,000 green cards to immigrants from Muslim nations over the past five years. Unless Congress changes his policy, that number will be repeated in the next five years.

I don't think that the fact that the church is helping the refugees, or that they have nice things to say about Germany inviting in the refugees, indicates any policy of the church. Whatever the situation, the refugees our our brothers and sisters, so we should help them, even if the policies that got them where they are are flawed.

Have you adopted a few of these military-age men into your home? I am sure they would be a fine addition to the holiday season.

I don't think i is a good idea to bring in massive numbers of Muslim refugees here in the U.S. I think there a better ways to do it while letting them stay in the Middle East. That being said, should our government bring them in, we shouldn't throw them out into the street to starve. That relates to my point about the church. Making sure that people have the basic necessities of life does not mean they support the policies that got them where they are.
