I can totally agree with this. I didn't vote for trump. I proudly voted for Darrell Castle. Even though everyone was screaming at me saying "you're throwing your vote away!". when you live in a banana republic, a 'protest vote' isn't defined as 'throwing your vote away.'Sarah wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2019, 11:51 am
I'm not totally against voting for the best out of the two. I voted for Bush and John McCain. But with Trump, I could not knowingly vote for someone whose personal life of adultery and foul language and everything else was so in your face. I also was more educated to know that the libertarian/nationalist movement had been hijacked, and that he was likely a tool to bring in a more nationalist movement, in order to bring conflict and a financial collapse.
actually, trump has been very vocal about the policies and deception and money manipulation of the Fed. his tweets are easy to find.Sarah wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2019, 11:51 am
Now Trump is just encouraging and facilitating the debt bubble and the massive transfer of wealth again from the middle class to the wealthy bankers. It is the same game being played, and he is a part of it. He preached during the campaign about the dangers of the Fed and now we don't here a peep about living responsibly and getting away from easy money. The only way to fix our economy is a detox. To stop spending and let the crash happen before the bubble gets too big. But there was no effort on Trump's part to fix that part. 44% of people in the U.S. need to go into debt to stay afloat. I wouldn't classify that as a great economy. Our bank just announced that they are laying off 500 people. Layoffs are happening everyone and manufacturing is way down. The banks currently cannot sustain themselves without having billions injected every day. Where is Trump warning us of what is coming and what we can do to fix this mess?
we need a detox, but no one is going to give it to us- no one has that much power. not even Trump. Chances are high that a recession will hit before the next election.
It's not Trump's job (or even desire) to warn us. He's a populist, not a conservative or even better- a constitutionalist. I've never understood why folks hold him to a standard he never espoused. I see him as a guy who loves america and himself very much. you're right- he hasn't hit on his campaign promise of debt, but I heard just yesterday there's a list of his campaign promises on his office door. He has actually done quite a bit on those promises. I can't imagine what he could accomplish if the press or the republicans or the dems treated him like they treated that kenyan. I've never seen a president treated worse by the media or even his own party- and still get as much done as he has. My hat's off to the vulgar, prideful guy, is what I say. Love him or hate him, at least you know where you stand with with him. I'm voting for him in 2020. It's all a circus anyway.
