Missionaries called home?

Post by Melissa »

3 Terrorist attacks in two weeks. France is at the top of their list. Terrorist say, it's just the start. Things seem to be getting really crazy and I wonder how fast and how far this will spread. It makes me wonder when the missionaries will be called home?

It seems the Devils army is getting well prepared and in full-swing. The middle east has changed, Europe has now changed, we are likely next.

Will these events and situations be what brings the missionaries home? How long do you think?

I don't think isolated incidents of terrorism are going to cause the church to call the missionaries home - they'll just advise them to stay inside and not allow them to go out and proselyte for awhile in France, but as a whole, the only thing that will bring the missionaries home... is the Lord, and it will probably happen before WWIII kicks off, which is getting closer by the week now. I think things will also need to get a little bit worse too in terms of immorality and rejecting the gospel message as a whole across the world because he will call the missionaries home when he is ready to 'preach his own sermon'.

That's the first sane thing you've said all week! :ymhug:

I served my mission in Bolivia, 88-89, when two missionaries were gunned down buy terrorist. They came very close to closing my mission to foreign missionaries. The plan was going to be to only send Bolivian's to Bolivia. Needless to say that wasn't the path the church took.

The church just announced that they are changing the MTC time back to 3 weeks again. Little more preparation before going out in the mission field.

I agree though, it will take a more than a few terrorist attacks to call home the missionaries. Missionaries are also returning to some of the countries that had the ebola outbreak.

I understand that the missionaries will not be called home at THIS time. I was speculating the future under the threat of these events becoming widespread. We know they will come home sometime.

When France becomes officially Muslim I think then the missionaries will not go to France. The missionaries are not allowed to preach the gospel to Muslims. All you folks all happy over importing migrants from the Middle East should remember this.
