Re: Your current situation?
I'm pretty good, but there are days I struggle.
16 Behold, my soul delighteth in the things of the Lord; and my heart pondereth continually upon the things which I have seen and heard.
17 Nevertheless, notwithstanding the great goodness of the Lord, in showing me his great and marvelous works, my heart exclaimeth: O wretched man that I am! Yea, my heart sorroweth because of my flesh; my soul grieveth because of mine iniquities.
18 I am encompassed about, because of the temptations and the sins which do so easily beset me.
19 And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in whom I have trusted...

Love life. It's amazing. I'm amazed at how smooth, simple and sweet it is.

iwritestuff, you have a rather cavalier attitude about life. I am enjoying hearing about people's current situations.

Hey, I cast my vote. Would have preferred a "Salty with a touch of rage" option but settled for something that sounded more like "hunky dory".bornfree wrote:iwritestuff, you have a rather cavalier attitude about life. I am enjoying hearing about people's current situations.
Reality is I'm between trials at the moment and enjoying the mildly edifying distraction that is LDSFF.

I'm in the middle of a situation in my life right now. I don't know if I should talk about it,. I would like some advice, but I'm fearful of it being treated lightly.iWriteStuff wrote:Hey, I cast my vote. I despise a majority of humanity, I deeply and thoroughly to my core hate some with a fiery burning anger. For myself I switch between moderate loathing to outright hatred, And one of my first thoughts after I awaken each day is disappointment that I woke up at all.

I've shared some very personal stuff here before. You won't be disappointed with the results.bornfree wrote:I'm in the middle of a situation in my life right now. My faith and the church keep me happy.
And I'm facing fatal challenges at this time.

For a second there I thought you were a certain family member of mine who expresses the same sentiment. He has faced a lot of betrayal and rejection, even though he's really a great guy.skmo wrote:I despise a majority of humanity, I deeply and thoroughly to my core hate some with a fiery burning anger. Whenever I ask him for advice he says "Life sucks and then you die".
I'm sorry this is how life is for you right now.
Hang in there, it's temporary.

Thankyou. I have an habitual sin habit that I cannot break. It's been going on for several years. I do not control it, it controls me. I am in the habit of being a liar. I bear false witness. I design to deceive. I actually like your humor and sincerity. See, that's a lie! And I don't have a problem with lying, I was lying.bornfree wrote:I'm in the middle of a situation in my life right now. I don't know if I should talk about it,. So how does one know when you are lying? I can't tell if you really enjoy hearing about people's situations or like lying about being a liar who bears false witness about being a deceiver.bornfree wrote:Thankyou. Well, it's damned well stayed long enough. People mistakenly thought the Mayans believed the world was going to end in 2012. Ironically, my world did end in 2012. I really hate the new one.butterfly wrote:For a second there I thought you were a certain family member of mine who expresses the same sentiment.
