I don't know if anyone remembers the original 'Worldwide Church of God' or the radio/tv program 'The World Tomorrow', led by Herbert W. Armstrong. That church also taught that Jesus was Jehovah of the Old Testament. There still exists many offshoots of that church today, and they still hold the same belief. Quite a few independent preachers in the late 1800's also talked about this.

Jesus and Jehovah aren't the same person... so no matter how you tried to read into it, it will never be true. Jehovah is the Father and Jesus is the Son.

If you are talking about the Godhead, it is Elohim, Jehovah, Michael. Jesus is the Firstborn in the spirit of Michael and he is adopted as the Firstborn by Jehovah- Elohim's Firstborn- into the line of Saviors. Jehovah is the Father of Jesus in the Flesh as His Only Begotten but Jesus is also the Firstborn in the Spirit of Michael and not a part of the God-head. He will be Jehovah of the next round of creation.

But if you search: "Mark E. Peterson" Jehovah's Witnesses letter, you'll get 9/10 anti-Mormon websites that don't talk about it, so good luck finding it...
