This is really just one more tangible thing that takes away from people actually interacting with others how we were designed to. TV, iPhones, internet games, xbox, porn, etc

The robot is just a glorified blow up doll. It doesn't talk or move or act like a human at all. And yes, I agree with the article that loneliness is one of the biggest problems facing the general population- and it's laughable how they are just throwing more crap at the problem under the pretense that it can be therapudic. I don't buy that.

What if the wives told their husbands they were excited to embrace polygamy in the next life?

My statement has nothing to do with polygamy.

Currently that is correct. However, in the next two decades you are going to see advances that will challenge your view of what humanity truly is. Humans will become more robotic as people opt to replace their bodies with superior functioning cybernetics, robots will become far more human with advances in artificial intelligence and synthetic muscle and skin.

Currently the Japanese are way ahead on robotics because they have not been having enough babies, and they are opposed to bringing in millions of migrants to replace their culture, so they need robots to care for their elderly masses. The USA is developing more advanced robots designed to kill, and kill on a massive scale. Hey, you know, USA is God's chosen nation, right? Which God you might wonder. Oh well, it is going to be interesting.

However, I still say that males will be far more eager to replace relationships with women with robots. This will place a premium on males which will, as it has in LDS demographic imbalances, lead to females being far more willing to compromise their morality to acquire a man, unless we do see polygamy come back. Yet as we know a people who oppose polygamy will see their hearts grow further away from God and we will perhaps wind up in a dystopian nightmare where we have a technocratic elite using sex as the opium of the masses, to paraphrase Marx's observation of religion's role in maintaining social order, and a people so caught up in experiencing new things that they won't care at all as the Luciferian elite slowly but surely eradicate them.

In other words, sex is off the table when you're going through IVF treatments. There's nothing so good at enforcing abstinence as trying to have children when you have fertility issues.
