"Residue"- In law the part of an estate that is left after bequests.

I wonder if church members have a legal right to bequest from the storehouse treasury, a covenant and a deed that cannot be broken, that are poor and have not sufficient for their support to obtain such?

If one went to court with the Scriptures as back up, and could clearly present the case that the intent of Jesus Christ, was that the poor members of his church were to have such, if their case would be valid, because for sure it would be just according to that which is written.

For it is written no one is to say the church funds are their own but every member is to have equal claim upon the storehouse treasury of the LORD. (See D&C 104:62)

If one were to go to the bishop and plead their case first with the scriptures as back up, would they need an attorney if denied?

Interesting thought, since it is written to "Sue for peace".♡

The poor having their rights restored would be good.♡

Of couse freewill of the leaders is best, rather than public shame, but whatever helps redeem the Zion of God is useful one would think.♡

It is not written in the "One Stick" of the "Right of the Needy" for nought, but it is written "the right of the needy do they not judge" in Jeremiah 5:28.

Good to be enlightened to the things of God.♡

See D&C 42:28-35 78:3 82:17-20 104:1-18 104:60-72

And many others written that so testify.♡

The law is equal claim upon the storehouse treasury, what LDS member feels they have equal claim as the prophet does?♡

I think you need to find another note or two on the piano, Robert ;)

I have quite a few notes I have played,

* Personal Book Reports, on all the things that Jesus Christ has said to do, and to be like, and to know, of the "One Stick" given unto the House of Ephraim, then read over and over until all his words are written upon the table of your heart, mind and soul.

* Listening to audio recorded scriptures all night long while you sleep on low, praying to your father in heaven that his words he would like you to know, might be able to enter into your mind and heart and soul while you sleep, as well as during the day as much as possible.

* The Book of Enoch the Prophet as a wonderful book to come to know and love, from one of your ancient grandfathers who has written unto you.

And many other useful things to know, have I posted to help this House of Ephraim, learn their duty to God, and fullfill this honor and calling and election to set up the standard and ensign of the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.♡

Only "residue" is to be used after bequests of the poor and needy for stewardships sufficient for their support, are imparted, as well as food and raiment, said "residue" then for the building of houses of worship and for purchasing lands for the public benefit of the members.
For no man, is to call the treasury his own, to go and invest and build as he desires, but to fullfill the will of God.♡

Equal claims - see D&C 82:15-20

Inheritances - see D&C 83:5-6

Equal- see D&C 78:5-7

The world lies in sin because - D&C 49:20

No man to call the treasury his own - D&C 104:62

Good to know these things and more.♡

I think every single LDS member of age and understanding should study Section 42 of the Doctrine and Covenants, and come to understand this "law to be embraced by the church" and come to know perfectly the word "residue" what the LORD wants done with his treasury before there is "residue" and what is to take place after this first part is completed, and there is "residue" left, in his storehouse treasury.

Good to come to know perfectly the "law to be embraced by the church". ♡

Every Latter Day Saint, should understand this word "Residue" used in "the law to be embraced" by the church, of Doctrine and Covenants section 42.

Good to search out widom and knowledge and understanding of the word and law of God.♡
