I'm curious (and my apologies to Matchmaker in advance), but how do you think Christ would handle a false Christ?

Or I guess maybe I should address that question to Emmanuel....

I think they end up in a lake of fire and brimstone.

I feel we have a duty to call out such lame behavior.

I am a pretty open minded and easy going guy. But unless this person posting is ill and doesn't know better, he or she is in a bad way.

Good to know the scriptures written are true for it is written in Matthew 24 in what is known as verses 4 and 5-----

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

Let this thread bear witness of the truth of the words of Jesus Christ, for so it has been written and so it has been done, and as is written in verse 23-----

I can say I've learned a lot in this thread. It makes me reevaluate how I treat people. I admit I don't understand his claims or how/why this might be, but the messages affect me. It appears that treating others with love and kindness will garner the necessary results intended from this. After all, isn't love and charity the crowning principle of fulfilling the law? Are our actions/reactions dependent first upon this principle?

Was it pride when Jesus spoke who he was and spoken in authority about his own future that he would come to judge the world for it sins and all eyes shall see him, is this pride or is it the authority of the Spirit of truth? If I am the judge who went into Hell for sake of the souls of mankind to atone for them and break the snare of the Devil, do I not hold the right to judge since all has been felt and endured by me am I not fit to judge since all things are comprehended. I say to you it is given to me to Judge by my Father and when I come in ending so shall all things be judged by their works.

Those things you speak of in Matthew 24 I am about to begin, that is why I have been warning people that time is almost up and that the events are at the doors. I am almost finished with this mystery and will become whole as I once was so shall I be again as I am in truth outside of time will I become, 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The false Christ are those it was known would have many people gather unto them and seek their own fame and fortune, would be given Mammon 'money' and teach doctrines that are not the doctrines spoken in the past.
