The Native Shoshone needed no such elements of Babylon. Their system succeeded for thousands of years without the greed of Manifest Destiny. A good friend of mine, a Shoshone here in Brigham City, the great grandson of Moroni Timbimboo, a Shoshone chief and the first Native Indian LDS bishop, would have something to say about that. Mormon settlers edged out the native population by consuming the natural resources rather than cooperating. They took, took and took, impoverishing the natives who were there first.Elizabeth wrote:Of course at that time there were no benefits of infrastructure, welfare, education facilities, employment, medical facilities, hand outs etc etc... nor expectations of any.marc wrote: I was just thinking the other day, don't Americans (especially Utahns) understand that most of Western US was Mexico, including what is now the state of Utah? Re: TRUMP.
The post is about trump, but I have heard a saying that would fit here.
The white man came to the red man's land carrying the Bible. They said this bible is the words of God. They read to the red man from that Bible, then ask the red man if he wanted to kneel in prayer with them. The red man said It is good that we kneel and pray to father. After prayer they all stood up and the red man noticed they now had the bible in their hands, and the white man had the land in his.
The BOM tells us that we will get our just rewards. It also tells us that those who escape the just rewards, will live under the protection of the red man when a nation is made in a day.

"In an attempt to explain the Trump phenomenon, Politico’s chief political columnist Roger Simon writes, in a backhanded fashion: “He speaks his mind. And in his mind he is already a hero, and a two-fisted one at that.” Then, by way of further explanation, Simon quotes Trump speaking about Trump: “Let me tell you one thing that you can count on with great certainty … If you hit me, I will hit you back 100 times harder — harder than you’ve ever been hit before.’”
Writing for the Wall Street Journal, columnist Peggy Noonan delves a bit deeper. “… Donald Trump has a real following … His persona and particular brand of populism have hit a nerve among some independents and moderates, too … They think he’s real, that he’s under nobody’s thumb, that maybe he’s a big-mouth, but he’s a truth teller. He’s rich and can’t be bought by some billionaire, because he is a billionaire. He’s talking about what people are thinking and don’t feel free to say. He can turn the economy around because he made a lot of money, so he probably knows how to make jobs.” If you talk to some of those who are among the 24 percent in a Washington Post-ABC News (or 18 percent in a CNN poll) who support Trump, chances are they will agree at least in part with Noonan. We would argue, however, that all this trumpeting of Trump misses an essential point. Voters are attracted to Trump not necessarily because they want to see him become president. Rather, they simply want a president who means what he says. As explained by Noonan: “(Trump) is a fighter. People want a fighter. Maybe he’s impolitic, but he’s better than some guy who filters everything through a screen of political calculations.”
Undoubtedly, Trump has some true believers. But the greater message of Trump’s campaign is not about Trump. It’s not even about his specific policies. As Noonan writes: “(Trump) capitalises on the fact that no one in America trusts politicians anymore.” Noonan may not be correct in absolute terms, but that doesn’t undercut the real importance of Trump’s candidacy. The takeaway from Trump’s rise in the polls is not that he may one day be president. It is that Trump represents what many in this country are looking for in a president. Voters are disillusioned. Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11 have left the country war-weary. There is doubt among many that these wars served a purpose, but certainty the nation paid a high price in lives and dollars. After nearly two terms in office, there is skepticism President Barak Obama has brought the “hope and change” he promised. There is anger. There is polarisation as voters on the hard right and hard left have purged Congress of moderates – Rockefeller Republicans to the right of centre and Blue Dog Democrats to the left. It can be cogently argued that what the nation wants (and needs) in the next president is a mix of Theodore Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan and a dash of William Jefferson Clinton (without the drama of Monica Lewinski). In Roosevelt, there was a champion of the little guy. He fought monopolies of the industrial age, while walking softly and carrying a big stick in foreign policy. Kennedy saw unlimited greatness in America, while Reagan and Clinton had the ability to communicate with the electorate by not talking over its collective head.
How far Trump will get on the electoral trail is anyone’s guess. What is not in question, however, is that Trump has hit a vein of discontent in the American electorate — something other candidates ignore at their own peril.”

Re: TRUMP.
"The three core principles of Donald J. Trump's immigration plan:
When politicians talk about “immigration reform” they mean: amnesty, cheap labor and open borders. The Schumer-Rubio immigration bill was nothing more than a giveaway to the corporate patrons who run both parties.
Real immigration reform puts the needs of working people first – not wealthy globetrotting donors. We are the only country in the world whose immigration system puts the needs of other nations ahead of our own. That must change. Here are the three core principles of real immigration reform:
1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.
2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.
3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.
Make Mexico Pay For The Wall
For many years, Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country (as well as in other Latin American countries). They have even published pamphlets on how to illegally immigrate to the United States. The costs for the United States have been extraordinary: U.S. taxpayers have been asked to pick up hundreds of billions in healthcare costs, housing costs, education costs, welfare costs, etc. Indeed, the annual cost of free tax credits alone paid to illegal immigrants quadrupled to $4.2 billion in 2011. The effects on jobseekers have also been disastrous, and black Americans have been particularly harmed.
The impact in terms of crime has been tragic. In recent weeks, the headlines have been covered with cases of criminals who crossed our border illegally only to go on to commit horrific crimes against Americans. Most recently, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, with a long arrest record, is charged with breaking into a 64 year-old women’s home, crushing her skull and eye sockets with a hammer, raping her, and murdering her. The Police Chief in Santa Maria says the “blood trail” leads straight to Washington.
In 2011, the Government Accountability Office found that there were a shocking 3 million arrests attached to the incarcerated alien population, including tens of thousands of violent beatings, rapes and murders.
Meanwhile, Mexico continues to make billions on not only our bad trade deals but also relies heavily on the billions of dollars in remittances sent from illegal immigrants in the United States back to Mexico ($22 billion in 2013 alone).
In short, the Mexican government has taken the United States to the cleaners. They are responsible for this problem, and they must help pay to clean it up.
The cost of building a permanent border wall pales mightily in comparison to what American taxpayers spend every single year on dealing with the fallout of illegal immigration on their communities, schools and unemployment offices.
Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]. We will not be taken advantage of anymore.
Defend The Laws And Constitution Of The United States
America will only be great as long as America remains a nation of laws that lives according to the Constitution. No one is above the law. The following steps will return to the American people the safety of their laws, which politicians have stolen from them:
Triple the number of ICE officers. As the President of the ICE Officers’ Council explained in Congressional testimony: “Only approximately 5,000 officers and agents within ICE perform the lion’s share of ICE’s immigration mission…Compare that to the Los Angeles Police Department at approximately 10,000 officers. Approximately 5,000 officers in ICE cover 50 states, Puerto Rico and Guam, and are attempting to enforce immigration law against 11 million illegal aliens already in the interior of the United States. Since 9-11, the U.S. Border Patrol has tripled in size, while ICE’s immigration enforcement arm, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), has remained at relatively the same size.” This will be funded by accepting the recommendation of the Inspector General for Tax Administration and eliminating tax credit payments to illegal immigrants.
Nationwide e-verify. This simple measure will protect jobs for unemployed Americans.
Mandatory return of all criminal aliens. The Obama Administration has released 76,000 aliens from its custody with criminal convictions since 2013 alone. All criminal aliens must be returned to their home countries, a process which can be aided by canceling any visas to foreign countries which will not accept their own criminals, and making it a separate and additional crime to commit an offense while here illegally.
Detention—not catch-and-release. Illegal aliens apprehended crossing the border must be detained until they are sent home, no more catch-and-release.
Defund sanctuary cities. Cut-off federal grants to any city which refuses to cooperate with federal law enforcement.
Enhanced penalties for overstaying a visa. Millions of people come to the United States on temporary visas but refuse to leave, without consequence. This is a threat to national security. Individuals who refuse to leave at the time their visa expires should be subject to criminal penalties; this will also help give local jurisdictions the power to hold visa overstays until federal authorities arrive. Completion of a visa tracking system – required by law but blocked by lobbyists – will be necessary as well.
Cooperate with local gang task forces. ICE officers should accompany local police departments conducting raids of violent street gangs like MS-13 and the 18th street gang, which have terrorized the country. All illegal aliens in gangs should be apprehended and deported. Again, quoting Chris Crane: “ICE Officers and Agents are forced to apply the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Directive, not to children in schools, but to adult inmates in jails. If an illegal-alien inmate simply claims eligibility, ICE is forced to release the alien back into the community. This includes serious criminals who have committed felonies, who have assaulted officers, and who prey on children…ICE officers should be required to place detainers on every illegal alien they encounter in jails and prisons, since these aliens not only violated immigration laws, but then went on to engage in activities that led to their arrest by police; ICE officers should be required to issue Notices to Appear to all illegal aliens with criminal convictions, DUI convictions, or a gang affiliation; ICE should be working with any state or local drug or gang task force that asks for such assistance.”
End birthright citizenship. This remains the biggest magnet for illegal immigration. By a 2:1 margin, voters say it’s the wrong policy, including Harry Reid who said “no sane country” would give automatic citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants.
Put American Workers First
Decades of disastrous trade deals and immigration policies have destroyed our middle class. Today, nearly 40% of black teenagers are unemployed. Nearly 30% of Hispanic teenagers are unemployed. For black Americans without high school diplomas, the bottom has fallen out: more than 70% were employed in 1960, compared to less than 40% in 2000. Across the economy, the percentage of adults in the labor force has collapsed to a level not experienced in generations. As CBS news wrote in a piece entitled “America’s incredible shrinking middle class”: “If the middle-class is the economic backbone of America, then the country is developing osteoporosis.”
The influx of foreign workers holds down salaries, keeps unemployment high, and makes it difficult for poor and working class Americans – including immigrants themselves and their children – to earn a middle class wage. Nearly half of all immigrants and their US-born children currently live in or near poverty, including more than 60 percent of Hispanic immigrants. Every year, we voluntarily admit another 2 million new immigrants, guest workers, refugees, and dependents, growing our existing all-time historic record population of 42 million immigrants. We need to control the admission of new low-earning workers in order to: help wages grow, get teenagers back to work, aid minorities’ rise into the middle class, help schools and communities falling behind, and to ensure our immigrant members of the national family become part of the American dream.
Additionally, we need to stop giving legal immigrant visas to people bent on causing us harm. From the 9/11 hijackers, to the Boston Bombers, and many others, our immigration system is being used to attack us. The President of the immigration caseworkers union declared in a statement on ISIS: “We've become the visa clearinghouse for the world.”
Here are some additional specific policy proposals for long-term reform:
Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs. We graduate two times more Americans with STEM degrees each year than find STEM jobs, yet as much as two-thirds of entry-level hiring for IT jobs is accomplished through the H-1B program. More than half of H-1B visas are issued for the program's lowest allowable wage level, and more than eighty percent for its bottom two. Raising the prevailing wage paid to H-1Bs will force companies to give these coveted entry-level jobs to the existing domestic pool of unemployed native and immigrant workers in the U.S., instead of flying in cheaper workers from overseas. This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.
Requirement to hire American workers first. Too many visas, like the H-1B, have no such requirement. In the year 2015, with 92 million Americans outside the workforce and incomes collapsing, we need to companies to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed. Petitions for workers should be mailed to the unemployment office, not USCIS.
End welfare abuse. Applicants for entry to the United States should be required to certify that they can pay for their own housing, healthcare and other needs before coming to the U.S.
Jobs program for inner city youth. The J-1 visa jobs program for foreign youth will be terminated and replaced with a resume bank for inner city youth provided to all corporate subscribers to the J-1 visa program.
Refugee program for American children. Increase standards for the admission of refugees and asylum-seekers to crack down on abuses. Use the monies saved on expensive refugee programs to help place American children without parents in safer homes and communities, and to improve community safety in high crime neighborhoods in the United States.
Immigration moderation. Before any new green cards are issued to foreign workers abroad, there will be a pause where employers will have to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed immigrant and native workers. This will help reverse women's plummeting workplace participation rate, grow wages, and allow record immigration levels to subside to more moderate historical averages."

Re: TRUMP.
Although “the Donald” could have made his point in a gentler manner and perhaps not risked his merchandise being dropped by the hypocritical Macy’s department store nor risked his “Celebrity Apprentice” being dropped by NBC, Trump is certainly onto something.
According to the United Nations – which is no conservative think tank – 97 percent of the illegal immigrants who enter this country clandestinely do so via the Southern border between the U.S. and Mexico.
The House Committee on Homeland Security has also reported:
“Not all illegal aliens are crossing into the United States to find work. Law enforcement officials indicate that there are individuals coming across the border who are forced to leave their home countries because of criminal activities. These dangerous criminals are fleeing the law in other countries and seeking refuge in the United States.”
According to Federal Bureau of Investigation crime statistics, 95 percent of arrest warrants in Los Angeles are issued for illegal immigrants, not American citizens.
Seventy-five percent of the people on law enforcement’s “Most Wanted” list in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Albuquerque are also illegal immigrants.
In addition, 53 percent of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
The FBI also reports that a whopping 25 percent of inmates inside California’s state prisons, county jails, and municipal detention facilities are Mexican nationals. Not Swedish nationals, British nationals, Middle Eastern country nationals; but, Mexican nationals. On a larger scale, the annual cost to house these criminal illegal immigrants nationally is $1.6 billion and growing.

"It’s August of 2015, and you’re probably sweating your behind off. Christmas isn’t coming for another four months, and a Donald Trump presidency isn’t coming until January of 2017.
What The Donald thinks about the secular left’s war on Christmas is probably the last thing on your mind, given that you’re probably either frantically gearing up for kids going back to school or breathing a huge sigh of relief now that they have. Rest assured, though, Trump is thinking about the war on Christmas.
In a radio interview Friday, Trump declared war on those who would make war on Christmas, saying he went out of his way to use the name of the holiday instead of saying “Season’s Greetings.”
“I go out of my way to use the word ‘Christmas,’” Trump told Yellowhammer Radio host Cliff Sims.
“There’s an assault on anything having to do with Christianity,” he continued.
“They don’t want to use the word Christmas anymore at department stores … There’s always lawsuits and unfortunately a lot of those lawsuits are won by the other side.” (H/T Mediaite)
The comments fit with Trump’s recent push against anti-Christian sentiment in America.
“The Christians are being treated horribly because we have nobody to represent the Christians,” Trump said in a recent interview. “Believe me, if I run and I win, I will be the greatest representative of the Christians they’ve had in a long time.”
Relevant portion of interview begins at 5:05 (religious liberty) and 5:55 (war on Christmas) below:
He also bemoaned President Obama’s refusal to allow Christian refugees from Syria to enter the country while simultaneously allowing a flood of Muslim refugees to enter — many of whom haven’t had their backgrounds checked.
“I learned this weekend … that if you’re a Christian living in Syria you can’t come into this country,” Trump said."

Re: TRUMP.
I'm absolutely loving The Donald at the moment. This is already one of the most entertaining election campaigns in American history. Certainly beats Canada's current election 'campaign' if you can even call it that. I'd rather see Trump become president than yet another Bush or Clinton.
Many might not agree with Trump but at least he is showing he is different than the politicians in the USA and isn't afraid to say what he thinks.
I actually enjoyed watching Celebrity Apprentice but you could often see that he made poor firing decisions. I actually like the UK Apprentice's Lord Sugar better than Trump because at least his decisions always seem fair and at least properly thought out. Trump's decisions often hinge on hearsay and especially when he fired Dayana Mendoza in Celebrity Apprentice. That was pretty rotten of him considering the situation so voters in the USA have to consider that track record of Trump, he doesn't always do the research required.

Having lived in Los Angeles and environs for a number of years, I am somewhat familiar with immigrants from all over the world. WSJ gets it right on this one, and my experience is the same. Most crime in L.A. is either a.) domestic in nature (i.e. people who know each other), or b.) gang-related. I'm curious how they got the "75%" number from L.A.'s most-wanted list, which can be found here: http://www.lapdonline.org/all_most_wanted" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; -- I spot-read 20 or so and found only one that stated outright that the suspect was from another country (El Salvador in this particular case). Maybe people think everyone in L.A. with a hispanic-sounding last name is an illegal immigrant?...
They might start by pointing out that numerous studies going back more than a century have shown that immigrants—regardless of nationality or legal status—are less likely than the native population to commit violent crimes or to be incarcerated. A new report from the Immigration Policy Center notes that while the illegal immigrant population in the U.S. more than tripled between 1990 and 2013 to more than 11.2 million, “FBI data indicate that the violent crime rate declined 48%—which included falling rates of aggravated assault, robbery, rape, and murder. Likewise, the property crime rate fell 41%, including declining rates of motor vehicle theft, larceny/robbery, and burglary.”

Re: TRUMP.
More from the WSJ article:
A separate IPC paper from 2007 explains that this is not a function of well-behaved high-skilled immigrants from India and China offsetting misdeeds of Latin American newcomers. The data show that “for every ethnic group without exception, incarceration rates among young men are lowest for immigrants,” according to the report. “This holds true especially for the Mexicans, Salvadorans, and Guatemalans who make up the bulk of the undocumented population.”
It also holds true in states with large populations of illegal residents. A 2008 report by the Public Policy Institute of California found that immigrants are underrepresented in the prison system. “The incarceration rate for foreign-born adults is 297 per 100,000 in the population, compared [with] 813 per 100,000 for U.S.-born adults,” the study concludes. “The foreign-born, who make up roughly 35% of California’s adult population, constitute 17% of the state prison population.”
High-profile incidents, like the recent arrest of a Mexican national in the horrific shooting death of a young woman in San Francisco, can give the impression that immigrants are more likely to commit violent crimes. But the alleged killer is no more representative of Mexican immigrants than Dylann Roof is representative of white people.
Every immigrant here illegally has already broken a law, though that doesn’t mean they are predisposed to crime. In a 2005 paper, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago reported that more recently arrived immigrants are even less crime-prone than their predecessors. In 1980 the incarceration rate of foreign nationals was about one percentage point below natives. A decade later that had fallen to a little more than a percentage point, and by 2000 it was almost three percentage points lower.

It’s often remarked that Donald Trump appeals to angry voters. That’s surely true. Yet there is a delicate discomfort about mentioning exactly the issue those voters—at least, those Republican voters—say they are most angry about: the breakdown of immigration enforcement. Trump holds a 2-1 lead over Jeb Bush among Republicans who want an immigration policy that focuses on enforcement and deportation.
Many leading politicians have expressed concern over Kathryn Steinle’s sad death. They typically represent the crime as something aberrational. Hillary Clinton, for example, said that San Francisco authorities “made a mistake” when they released Lopez-Sanchez into the community. Jeb Bush said, “The system broke down for [Steinle] and her family, and you can see why people are upset about that.”
Trump, however, had already staked out a position that defined the Steinle killing as anything but aberrational. The system didn’t break down for Steinle. It functioned as it all too often does. As Senator Ted Cruz pointed out during a July 21 Judiciary Committee hearing on crimes by illegal immigrants, in 2014 alone, immigration authorities released into American communities 193 illegal immigrants with homicide convictions, 426 people with sexual-assault convictions and 16,000 with drunk-driving convictions. Altogether, 104,000 people who by law should have been deported were instead allowed to remain on American soil. The director of the agency in charge of the removals offered as a partial excuse that immigration courts faced a backlog of 500,000 cases.
Whatever the cause, there’s no doubt that removals of immigrants convicted of criminal acts have tumbled in Obama’s second term, after a sharp rise in his first term. Federal immigration authorities removed more than 216,000 such immigrants from the United States in fiscal year 2011, more than double the removals of fiscal 2007. But in fiscal 2014, only 178,000 were removed—a 17 percent drop from the 2011 peak."

I see this immigration fiasco as part of what Dr. W. Cleon Skousen called "a very carefully and methodically executed program designed to destroy constitutional government as we have known it and make a shambles of the society which has wanted to keep the Constitution alive. Only then can a highly centralized, socialist state be established."

"The fact the Obama administration is leaving known ISIS training camps alone suggests the White House is protecting the terrorist group, according to presidential candidate Donald Trump.
“Well, you [as president] would knock the hell out of the training camps, that one’s a given, and it’s incredible we don’t do it [since] we know where they are,” he said on the Michael Savage Show. “It’s almost like, ‘are we protecting these people?'”
Trump is closer to the truth than he realizes; a secret U.S. government document obtained by Judicial Watch reveals the U.S. and other NATO nations deliberately backed al-Qaeda in Iraq, which morphed into ISIS, and other Islamic extremist groups to overthrow Syrian president Bashir al-Assad.
“The Salafist [sic], the Muslim Brotherhood and AQI [al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria,” the Pentagon document stated. “The West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support [this] opposition, while Russia, China and Iran ‘support the [Assad] regime.’”ISIS grew directly out of al-Qaeda in Iraq when the latter gained territory in Syria in 2013.
“On April 8, 2013, the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) – Al-Qaeda in Iraq – released a recorded audio message by its leader, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, in which he announced that the Syria jihadi group Jabhat Al-Nusra (JN) has been merely an extension of ISI [Islamic State of Iraq] in Syria,” the Middle East Media Research Institute reported. “…Al-Baghdadi announces that the names ISI and JN are not to be used anymore; instead, he declares the official merging of the two groups under the name ‘Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’ [also known as ISIS].”
And Turkey’s prime minister, a U.S. and NATO ally, was caught shipping arms to al-Qaeda and ISIS via Syria-bound trucks operated by the country’s intelligence agency, according to Turkish military officials in early 2015.
Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu banned media from reporting on three of the trucks searched by the military’s Gendarmerie General Command, which discovered 45 to 55 missiles or rockets, 30 to 40 crates of ammunition, including mortar rounds, and Douchka anti-aircraft ammunition.
“The trucks were carrying weapons and supplies to the al-Qaeda terror organization,” a report by the Gendarmerie General Command stated.
Davutoglu also removed public prosecutor Aziz Takei from office for ordering the search and 13 soldiers involved were charged with espionage punishable with 20-year prison terms.
“Though the scandal is tearing the country apart, the government opted for its favorite tactic of covering it up,” Turkish journalist Fehim Taştekin reported. “A court in Adana banned written, visual and Internet media outlets from any reporting and commenting on the stopping of the trucks and the search.”

"Conservative firebrand and bestselling author Ann Coulter joined Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at a rally in Iowa Tuesday – and she delivered an epic smackdown of “speech Nazis” who ridiculed the GOP frontrunner for using the term “anchor baby.”
“Apparently liberals think ‘anchor baby’ isn’t pleasant sounding,” she said in a speech introducing Trump at the event. “They prefer words like ‘aborted baby.’”
She continued, “But I have an idea. How about anvil babies – because that’s what anchor babies are around the necks of the American taxpayer.”
Coulter also blasted the Republican establishment’s tendency to “pre-emptively surrender” every time “liberals start yelling, ‘Ooh, that’s mean! You can’t use that word!’”
“Well they found something new with Donald Trump,” she declared of the candidate who refused to stop using the term “anchor baby.”
“And now Americans are finding out about not only the policy of anchor babies but the policies of these speech Nazis. And they’re going to learn, when it comes to Donald Trump, maybe it’d be better to just keep their mouths shut next time.”
Since Trump announced his candidacy for president, Coulter said, "I've felt like I'm dreaming. I can't believe I turn on TV, on prime-time TV every night, they're talking about anchor babies. They're talking about sanctuary cities. They're talking about Mexican rapists. …"
A man interrupted with a shout from the crowd: "Build the wall!"

Funny how people that have never experienced the freedom bestowed upon the United States by God in order to restore His Church, have so much bad to say about it. It was after all, the UK that the U.S. had to break free from in order to be the first and ONLY free country that the planet earth had EVER known, since the implementation of governments.
Clearly, the liberals are Satan's tool to rule the earth. This is why the democrats in the U.S. are so concerned about global warming; they know it's going to be hot as Hell. Donald Trump is teaching the Republican Party how to be conservative. Personally, I will vote for Cruz, but without Trump, there may be no distinguishing the repubs from the democrats.

Re: TRUMP.
I don't think it is so clear to many people that the liberals or even socialism and communism are Satan's tool to rule the earth. I have read the recorded warnings by past prophets and apostles about socialism and communism, and it seems that enough Latter-day Saints had espoused these isms that LDS prophets saw fit to issue serious warnings about them. Many people, including LDS people see their systems as fomenting charity in ways superior to and more effective than private charity. Right here in our own community we have people who believe that righteousness includes forcing other people to contribute to the welfare of those unable to meet their own needs.

I don't really know that to be true. I think there is an extremely high number who do come here for the free government give away that is paid for by the American taxpayer, or will be paid by his children, grandchildren, great ... etc., or maybe never paid.
I have heard it is one half of them.
And I also have neighbors and I'm also personally aware of many that do come just for the handout.

It appears that your mayor is an ignoramus, as the police who are supposed to go there are the ones saying they can't go there... at least not as police. They also say that they have to ask permission from the Muslim leaders of the communities before they can actually patrol those areas.
Not to mention that you just had a rape and sex slave ring involving more than 1400 underage British girls run by .... Muslims. And the authorities in Rotheram admitted they knew about it but didn't do anything because they didn't want to appear racist. Young girls passed around to hundreds of men over multiple years just because the authorities couldn't or wouldn't deal with reality. How many more people need to be sacrficed at the altars of the pathetic religion of political correctness?
In both cases, Trump has spoken the truth. In both cases, he is being villified.. not becausue he is wrong, but because you don't want the message to be true. You'd rather cling to your PC fantasyland than actually deal with reality.
Not all cultures are equal. Not all immigrants are nice. Not all religions are peaceful.
