Yes, it is good to give charity to those in need...
3 Nephi 14 9 Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask bread, will give him a stone?

10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12 Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets.

Divide lands and homes, for an inheritance, by covenant and deeds, which cannot be broken, unto the poor and needy of the church, D&C 42:30-55 & Joshua 1:6-8, turn not to the right hand or the left, from this law, to make your way as salt with savor, prosperous, and have good success.

This united order given for the benefit of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and for the salvation of men until the Lamb of God comes, see D&C 104:1, and be faithful, and "be blessed with a multiplicity of blessings" see D&C 104:2.

Good to be blessed with a multiplicity of blessings.

"Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest."
(See Joshua 1:6-8)

Good advice from God the Eternal Father, for all that hearken unto him, and serve him.♡ :)

How many presidential candidates understand the scripture that says, "Unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them." ?

How many Jewish leaders of the synagouges understand this which is written?

How many Christian leaders understand this which is written?

And how many Latter Day Saint leaders, who have this witness given in Joshua 1:6-8, saying turn not to the right hand nor the left, from this law, and a second witness in their D&C 42:30-55, that property at hand, is to be divided up, with covenants and deeds, that cannot be broken, and imparted unto all, sufficient for their need and want, that is just; as well as the Book of Ether chapter 13, describing this land is a chosen land above all others, to be a land "of inheritance" unto the seed of Joseph, and the children of Israel, that serve God faithfully, understanding about dividing up the land, for all to have stewardships of inheritance?

A land upon which a New Jerusalem would be built.

Melchizedek allowed Abraham and Lot to claim the land of their want and need, under his reign, that was just.

This land has a government set up, where by the people, with good leaders that understand these things, as president, and people of the congress, this law of God can be set up and established, for the people.

How hard can it be, to divide the public housing, and lands, of the United States of America, so that all might have an inheritance of a tabernacle to dwell in in safety, with a covenant and a deed, that cannot be broken?

A newspaper article in this area where I live, asked of 200 plus or minus homeless families, what did they feel, was their top need, as they felt, and of many items listed, food and otherwise, housing, was number one.

The LORD has had written, there is more than enough and to spare, to see this gets done, land and home, food and raiment, as a God given right, for all.

Who knoweth these things, understands them, and seeks to help establish the will of God, upon this land, as a light unto all the nations of this earth?

There is the record of the House of Judah, and a record of the House of Joseph, and even of the Book of Ether, within it's pages that testify of these things, as well as the Doctrine and Covenants, or Book of Commandments, as it was first called, that testify of these things, and how the people of God, should have all things common among them, for land and home, food and raiment, as a right, as a child of God.

Who sees these things written, and brings these things to light, that the people and leaders, be confounded no more, on how they are to treat the poor?

If you are a fellow servant of the LORD, feed his lambs, and his sheep, and teach them of his word, faithfully, of his will, and his law, which he sware unto the fathers, he would have those who serve him, establish in the land.

Divide and impart inheritances, are words of righteousness and justice, and equity, in the sight of God, for all his children, who serve him and love him, and keep his commandments, which he has given them.♡ :)

"Now Melchizedek's people, had waxed strong in iniquity and abomination, all gone astray, full of wickedness."Repented♡

"But Melchizedek having exercised mighty faith, and having received the office of the high priesthood according to the holy order of God, did preach repentance unto his people. And behold they did repent."

Yes, they did choose to repent, and work righteousness before God, rather than to perish.

What to choose this coming General Conference, to repent or perish before God?

Good to choose to repent, and become equal as a people in your temporal things, and this not grudgingly, for land and homes, food and raiment, with a covenant and a deed, imparted, from the wealth of the storehouse of the LORD, and a feast of fat things, of inheritance in the land, well prepared, from the rich and learned, and wise and noble of the church, for the poor among you, as if they were the Lamb of God himself.

Be as the wise virgins in the parable of Christ, and be ready for his coming, which is nigh.

Answer the wedding invitation given, and make no longer excuse as to why you cannot come.

Clothe yourselves, with a robe of righteousness, bringing his bride out of the closet, setting the oppressed free, breaking every yoke, undoing the heavy burdens, and let loose, the bands of wickedness and inequalities, and sin.

Then when you call for him, he may come forth of his chamber as the bridegroom, saying, "Here I am."

How wonderful can that day be? ♡ :)

Could even the great city of Salt Lake, be redeemed, by men of righteousness and justice, like unto this Melchizedek, who did restore peace unto the city of Salem?

What does Alma say?

"Yea, humble yourselves even as the people in the days of Melchizedek" (See Alma:13:13-14)

Who has faith, is mighty and strong, like unto this Melchizedek, or even as Enoch?

Who can lead this people, as was done in these days of old, like unto them?

Can even a group of men, be together as they were, distributing of the wealth, of their kingdom, and cities, unto the poor, until they were poor no more?

Who has this heart within them, to so do, as has been done before?

Ephraim, is that you we hear God calling?

Ready to acknowledge your offence, of willingly walking away, and be ashamed, and of a broken heart and contrite spirit, with fasting and prayer, atone for this?

Could be good, if you would.♡

Yes, even as it is written in Acts, of the apostles with Peter, in chapter 4 verse 35---

"And distribution was made unto every man according as he had need."

Who has this deep within their hearts, to do such things, like unto Enoch and Melchizedek and Peter?

Such is laying the foundation of peace, and of Zion.

Here is the call again, who among his children, and shepherds, hear his voice?

"Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them."

Mr President, and members of Congress, and General Authorities of his true church, do you hear the call of God?

Yes, think again about this that is written:

"And behold, they did repent."
(Alma 13:18)

No wonder it is called for now the Melchizedek Priesthood, for those who are after his order, after Enoch's, who was following the order of the Son of God, to establish peace in the land, with no poor among them of their own freewill, care was taken of all. How good is that of these leaders? ♡ :)

Nevertheless, as far as men go, Both Enoch and Melchizedek were able in their city, to establish peace in the land and goodwill among their people, and get them to repent, a wonderful thing to read about, and desire for our day, of individuals mighty and strong, about following the Son of God, Jesus Christ. ♡

When God said to divide the land for an inheritance, he did not say unto Joshua, but make sure they work for it first, before you impart it unto them, neither did Jesus Christ say unto the rich young man, give to the poor, but make sure they work for what you give unto them. Neither when written in D&C 42:30, to impart with a covenant and a deed which cannot be broken, did the LORD instruct, that you make the poor first work for these things, but to impart freely unto them, as commanded, that they be amply supplied.

This is a precept of men, to make the poor work for what they get, first, from his storehouse.

However once they have been given a stewardship, the scriptures written say for them to go now, labor with what they have been given, and return year to year, and offer up their surplus, and appear not before the LORD, empty handed. See Deut 16:16-17 ---

"Three times in a year shall all the males appear before the LORD thy God in the place he shall choose; in the feast of unleaven bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he has given thee."

In like manner was the law given in D&C 42:30-55 of all one's surplus to be consecrated, more than that which would be for thy support, into the storehouse of the LORD, which was for the additional needs of the poor, to be amply supplied, and residue to be used for building houses of worship, and purchase of properties for public benefit of the church.

To abide by his will, would mean that you as a people together would prosper, and have good success, and you would be blessed with a multiplicity of blessings.

Good to abide by his will and command for his people, and turn not to the right hand, or the left, therefrom.♡
