I would venture a guess that it's opposite, that those that aren't fully prepared are the ones that fear and hide their preparations under a bush. I have more then a year supply and am added more each day because I know this will help others too. I have a storage of clothes and all kinds of odd items that are for others not me.....Yet I think I am one of the loudest calling to share?

I think Avid posted he had a full supply too, and he clearly states we are to share. I remember others saying that too.

I think those that are saying they will share are the very ones WITH the storages, not the ones without.

I don't want to share to get something. I want share so I can give. We need to work together not in competition with each other that is enmity and competitive zeal. We will not make it through all of this working alone, only working together.

We need to encourage others to do the same, to get their years supply. Not focus on worring if people are going to want to eat ours. As Elder Featherstone said we do have to share we GET to Share!

That is what Zion is all about working together as one. Not focused on self. Now is the time we really need to help others get their storages, encourage, teach etc...not worry about them eating ours.........

I have shared my knowledge a plenty in the short time I have been a member of this forum.

I read your posts chain puller. I was responding to your repeated requests for addresses from those who say they are willing to share. It insinuated that those that are willing to share are hypocrites or they didn't really mean it. It was offensive and it needed to be responded to. Most good deeds are done without advertising.

I see your point.

My comment regarding the posting of addresses was never intended to be offensive, but I did intend to incite feelings of uneasiness.

Why?

Because when the real tough times come, sharing one's food will be an issue of true sacrifice. I want people to realize the seriousness of some of the things they are committing to already. I want them to realize that sharing during difficult days, while admirable, can put one's own family at risk if prudent care is not taken. For it may well be that they will be referred to someday for a helping hand. I want to help these people determine beforehand if they are truly prepared emotionally to sacrifice for others at the expense of their own families.

Within this forum at large, I hope to throw gasoline on the topics at hand. I hope to pull people's chain sometimes and encourage deeper analysis and invite consideration to an alternative view. As everyone thinks a little deeper and shares their comments, we are all benefitted.
