First off, thank you Brain (i hope to be corrected if im wrong) for compiling this great site. There is loads of information here. Information is defenantly something we need and im glad i came across a site that pulls so much together that is focused on our latter-day prophets and their councel for us. i am a only a few months old when it comes to being 'woken up' as some would put it. im not speaking of the church and the great plan of salvation. i am speaking of the secret combinations that are swallowing our once praised by others / charished by us nation.
i have a life time of learing to do about our constitution, our scriptures and the words of the prophets. again, i am greatful for such a place as this where i can dive into these topics together. to often they are seperate. Thank you Brain.

I live in Eagle River Alaska. have my whole life. Married to a wonderful freind and a beautiful woman...both the same individual ;) i have one child who is a whole 3 month young. i have been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 7 or 8 years.

Oak3s. Welcome. I look forward to hearing your thoughts/comments.

I think you'll find many on this site (me being one of them) that have also just recently awoken. And then there are some great old-timers here as well who have somehow known all this stuff for years and have just had to patiently wait for the rest of us.

Welcome welcome. I have friends and family in Eagle River (Kams and Lofgreens). We are in Southeast. ChelC and I did a stretch in Eielson ('83-'87). After that I'm content to do winters down here! Glad to see this place grow, don't let anyone run you off.

How did you like the area conference?

Yes welcome! You probably have met Bill and Garnet Kam I think he was in the bishopric for a while, maybe he still is... can't imagine your area is too big. Our families followed each other around a bit in the military and their daughter was one of my closest friends growing up - if you do see them say hi for us!

All you lucky people up there! :x I really loved Alaska, not sure hubby would go for one of those winters though, but summers are fabulous! Jealousy...

I cant say i know the Kams or the Lofgreens.
I enjoyed the area conference a lot. Being a part of history was pretty cool. as this becomes an anual even, years down the road i will be able to tell my son/s/daughter/s that i was at the first one.
something else about that historic day...the first snow fall of the year.

thanks for the welcome. i look forward to what this board has to offer. maybe i can offer something in return.

well now

Welcome,

I got your email and will write more later, but for now I just want to tell you congratulations on waking up.

You have taken the red pill, and we are some of your guides, to show you wonderland and how deep the hole goes (illusions from The Matrix).

We have all come here with various perspectives on the same thing, of which we are sharing with each other. The key is to get active, here and elsewhere, the more you share and give the more you grow. Champion that part you are best at and find a group that compliments your work.

I hope your posts and reflections are many and that you tell us when we need to do better.

God Bless,
Darren
