Ignorant heathen mothers love their newborns without being commanded to. I would venture to say that heathen men do as well. Not only do they love their children, they also tend to love their kin, clan, tribe, what have you.Desert Roses wrote:I hate not having the thumbs up "thank you"! Sure, there are different degrees and motives of love. I think it's safe to say none of us have perfected the effectiveness and purity of our love.ajax wrote:Ignorant heathen mothers love their newborns without being commanded to. But we keep trying!
Love is appreciating what is, while striving for what is best, through trial and error - active faith.
This is how I justify love never failing and obeying it is the greatest law or commandment. Even and often especially when we fail, we learn and progress more and our love becomes a little more pure.

That's why there's so many abortions and a abused/abandoned babies. It's because their moms love them so much.ajax wrote:Ignorant heathen mothers love their newborns without being commanded to. Well as you know, the persuasions and influences of God are too often ignored by all of us.
But, this doesn't negate the fact that God is love.

Yes, He loves us, even when we seek to mock, mislead and misrepresent. Elder Delooney would agree. I think.

I think so. As well as the manual writers and correlationists.shadow wrote:Yes, He loves us, even when we seek to mock, mislead and misrepresent. Elder Delooney would agree. I think.
