I am from a little hamlet in Georgia called Glenloch. I was a member in here a year or more back but my computer crashed and took everything with it. After I realized that all was lost, The puter became long range target practice. I am Cherokee/Scott and LDS or maybe that's the other way around in reverse. I was a member of another LDS discussion site that had become a veritable viper's pit so I left there months and months ago. I was actually looking on the net a few moments ago for something totally unrelated and happened to see a promo for LDSFF. I suddenly realized that LDSFF was one of the myriad of things that my previous computer managed to send in to outer space. But, I had my account set up through an email account per usual that I no longer have. So I re-registered altogether and have started fresh.

I like it here. I feel there is so much civil discussion, though I don't like it when we attack each other, but it happens, and we are flawed mortals on probation. I especially enjoys hearing the news here rather than through other sources, because usually the most important things make it here. Politics and doctrine are fun to read, especially together.

So a long way to say, welcome, and have fun.

Well bust my britches.... :ymhug: My Grandmother was from the Eastern Band that lived down in Etowah and Eastward and to the North, back up the homelands. We might very well be related....

Thank you for that, I had forgotten how large the contrast between here and the other place was. It is really a nice feeling place here.
