Do you mean the problems associated with racial diversity?
Or choosing a safe place to live?
Or being prepared?
Or what happens when you expect the government to take care of you?
There are so many lessons in these videos. The one thing I'll never forget is why I chose not to be there way ahead of time.

When society breaks down as a whole no city town or state to include Utah will be safe, this type of reaction by people will be a reason to gather for safety . Prior to the cleansing.

The best way to prepare for emergencies is to be fit physically, emotionally and spiritually.
"Be the change you want to see in the world."
The biggest problem I saw in both scenerios (Katrina aftermath and LA riots) is too much group-thought.
Police and national guard were going by the book when the situation called for ingenuity and compassion.
Looters and rioters were overreacting because others were.
Herd-mentality can be most dangerous!
Often, what an individual would never do on his/her own, when joining a mob, they will do.
It's so important to think for oneself and trust God above all - especially above group thought (political, religious etc) that is too often dysfunctional.
When under stress, one's weaknesses are revealed - best to deal with as much as possible before under such extreme stress.
In emergency, often everyone's thrown for a shocking loop. Considering "chaos theory" - there needs to be calm, adaptive response.
You've got to keep it together, think straight, and hopefully be accustomed to spiritual guidance, consider options - then take initiative in adaptive, organized and compassionate ways.

I am interracially married, having received said marriage at the heads of a current GA in the temple. Haven't had too many problems yet.
